Shedding the Snake: Peeling to Remove Discoloration

Discoloration is definitely real. Mine starts about an inch down and the remainder of the shaft is dark red, I’m color blind so that is at least what it looks like to me.

I am shocked my wife hasn’t called me out on it yet. She’s a smart women, so she must assume it’s from my current “exercise” routine.

I’m also certain that it will be a topic of conversation at some point.

I too have a dark ring around my shaft I’d like to get rid of. Possibly make the rest a little lighter overall as well. I read the first 20 pages of this thread following hobby’s experiment closely.

So I got some salicylic acid off eBay. Here’s a picture of the exact product:

I got the 20% strength one. I have light skin (type 1) that is pretty sensitive so I tested it on my leg first. First I put just a little bit. It dried and I felt very slight tingling but nothing more. So I put some more. Same result. Third time I tried putting an even thicker cover of it and again just a little tingling but no burning and definitely no peeling. You think there is something wrong with the product? I haven’t tested it on my shaft yet.

As you can see in the picture it has a roll-on deadorant type of top on it so that could cause the dosage to be way less than what some of you other guys that have tested this. I tried rolling it multiple times and get a lot of it on my skin but I haven’t yet tried taking the roll-on top off and just pouring it somewhere.

Or does it sound like there’s something wrong with the product itself? It was a very reputable seller on eBay. “Salicylic Acid Skin Peel roll on BHA - Exfoliant, Acne Treatment, Blackheads”, is what the product was listed at with strengths from 5% to 30%.

I had the same experience,
Used 20% on my thing, nothing happened I even put it on the gland and it just peeled around the hole (made the wrinkles disappear around it, hurt like a bitch)

Bought a 30% one and the same result it can’t penetrate the thick penis skin

So I used a dermaroller first that pierced the skin where the acid could penetrate the skin. It worked!

I also pre-peeled with lactic or glycolic acid first to remove a little of the dead upper epidermis (lactic was 70% and glycolic 40%)

I just had to laugh about the whole thread because people achieved supposedly good results with only 16% salicylic acid and I needed to go nuclear I even gave up until I discovered the dermaroller and got a lot of good results with only doing the firegoat roll

Also it’s really dumb to leave it on for 10-15 minutes because salicylic acide only “works” while you actually feel it sting so maybe 10-40 seconds once it stops stinging it’s not active anymore

Thanks. I’d always recommend trying firegoat rolls for a while before nuking your penis! :mutley:

firegoat is fully RETIRED from Thundersplace.

All injuries happen from "too much", or "too much, too soon" or "doing the exercise incorrectly".

Heat makes the difference between gaining quickly or slowly for some guys, or between gaining slowly instead of not at all for others. The ideal penis size is 7.6" BPEL x 5.6" Mid Girth. Basics.... firegoat roll How to use the Search button for best results

I’m very upset with my case since I was 13. It is darker and lighter in some areas, plus it has some glans on the skin and on those has hair. I feel very discomfortable with that and do not know what to do.

About 50 days ago I did circumcision and I’m becoming kind depressive because it looks so weird, the whole unit is darker and the head pink.. =/ Unfortunately.

Trichloroacetic acid wart and veruca remover - TCA method

Tools needed:
-Qtips
-Dermaroller
-Condoms
-Petroleum jelly
-Ibuprofen
-DrNumb
-Wartner TCA Gel Method Verruca and Wart Remover 1.5ml
-Access to a shower
-Hairdryer (variable heat setting)

Doing multiple peels over a 4-8 week period will lower risk of infection. So map 4-8 sections, if you have to with a pen, on your penis and pick your first area to peel near the base. Work up an area week-by-week like a totem pole

Take 4 ibuprofen 1 hour before peeling

Cover first area to peel with DrNumb

Tip about 20-30 drops of TCA onto a base

Use a Qtip to swipe and apply the acid to skin. Fill area using gentle swipes line-by-line like the way a cartridge in a printer fills ink onto paper

Ensure even coverage to best of your ability

Wait (45 - 1hr.)

Rinse (shower) area with lukewarm water and air dry (key being not to touch)

Take ibuprofen every 4 hours until pain subsides

Protect area from foreign contaminants such as clothing and bed sheets

Next day take a condom and lightly dermaroll (one side). Just enough so there’s airholes in the condom but not enough so that it doesn’t fall apart when applying it to the penis

Rinse condom in hot water until lubricant is gone

Apply petroleum jelly to inside of condom

Apply condom to penis

Go about your daily business

Take condom off at night and set it aside

Rinse penis clean of petroleum jelly, very gently apply a fragrance free soap, and rise. Air dry penis

Protect area from foreign contaminants such as clothing and bed sheets

Next day rinse condom, turn it inside out, apply more petroleum jelly, and repeat

Replace condom after both sides have been used

The word is clean, be mindful of what you expose your penis too during its healing phase

Each area can take 30-60 days to fully heal, so no sex and no masturbation

The mission is yours if you choose to accept it *plays MI2 music*

Disclaimer: You do this at your own risk, be warned, I have derived this method by reading this whole thread, other websites out of desperation to remove my own discolouration and by chance.

Update

Added and polished up a few steps.

Tools needed:
Qtips
Dermaroller
Condoms
Petroleum jelly
DrNumb
Wartner TCA Gel Method Verruca and Wart Remover 1.5ml
Access to a shower
Hairdryer (variable heat setting)

Take 4 ibuprofen 1 hour before peeling

Shaves pubes so none overlap penis, as these can cause irritation and infection.

Wash the penis with lukewarm water and fragrance free soap, dry with hairdryer.

Draw on with a pen the area to cover.

Cover first area to peel with Dr Numb, slightly overlapping area marks.

Wait 1hr.

Tip about 5-8 drops of TCA onto a base.

Grab some baking powder and take lid off.

Do this by the shower so you easily shower excess TCA off once the time is up.

Use a Qtip to swipe and apply the acid to skin. Fill area using gentle swipes line-by-line like the way a cartridge in a printer fills ink onto paper

Ensure even coverage to best of your ability

Set a timer for 15 minutes.

Rinse off excess TCA (shower) area with lukewarm water and neutralise with baking powder.

Wait 10 minutes, rinse off baking powder and dry the penis with a hair dryer.

Lightening the raphe?

Has anybody tried any of the various methods of peeling/skin lightening contained within this thread to target a raphe line/stripe that is darker than the surrounding skin?

The only thing I’ve found through extensive searching on the web elsewhere was a guy who claimed he used a TCA chemical peel in an attempt to remove Fordyce spots and happened to “eliminate” his dark red raphe tone incidentally.

Here’s an image of what I mean by a dark raphe:

Here’s the area I’m looking to lighten:

I realize that applying salicylic acid to the whole raphe would be ill-advised. I’m only looking to target the strip that runs across the top middle of the underside of the shaft (As shown in the second pic).

I think that even hypopigmentation, which would be whiter than the non-raphe skin, would look better than a dark brown/red stripe.

So, any thoughts or previous experience with this? And thanks to the dudes over the years who have dared to lead the way with all this!

I botched a tca peel leaving a small patch of whiter skin amongst a fair complexion. I had broke through the full layer of skin, I think it wasn’t diluted enough in that small area.

Any advice on what to do to blend it?

I’m just using a high% niacinamide cream I made myself, after workouts, seems to work over time.

Starting Stats - 5.5 BPEL x 5.6 EG

Current Stats - 6.1 BPEL x 7.1 EG

Goal - 7 x 6 (with hopefully a large flaccid hang)

Yo be careful,

This shit almost gave me PPP (Pearly Penile Papules)

It simulates foreskin and gives your penis a lot of moisture which causes these to appear. I was unlucky.

Only using 17 Salicylic acid

I have a pretty bad case of hyper-pigmentation on several spots on my foreskin, some spots worse than others.

From what I’ve read on this post there hasn’t been many people sharing their progress since Hobby in 2005 so I decided to share mine.

Several people on this post used a variety of products on top of the Salicylic acid treatment, I will be using ONLY Compound W Wart Remover (17% Salicylic acid) to see how effective it is on its own.

As far as schedule goes, I will be applying it every 3-4 days.

Will post periodically with updates.

Been about 3 days since applying, this is what I observed
Day 1: After Applying, target area becomes slightly darker
Day 2: Target area becomes even darker, skin texture becomes rough compared to surrounding skin
Day 3: Darker target area becomes dry, begins to flake off like scales
Too early to tell if hyper-pigmentation has lightened
Expect the remaining flakes to fall off by tomorrow, and Ill be applying the next treatment of 17% salicylic acid

*this was not PE induced discoloration I’m treating, but results maybe informative

Update 2: The hyper-pigmentation, lightened in some areas, while other areas remain the same.

Applied more salicylic acid today, will post in about 4 days after the skin flakes off, hopefully the area gets lighter. I’ve read that for some people using salicylic acid may irritate the skin to the point were it produces more pigmentation, thus making the area even darker, It appears so far that I don’t have this reaction.

Applying the acid is kinda painful, but it only lasts for about a minute, I then leave it on for another 15 minutes before I remove the white film it makes.

Update 3: Its been about a week, I let the chemical burn heal fully. The hyper-pigmentation is still there but is significantly lighter compared to when I started using salicylic acid. I will continue to use it until I fully remove the pigmentation.

Thanks for posting your results with the 17% salicylic acid.

Can you please post your exact procedure, ie; pre wash/dry, amount you apply, area of coverage, how often you apply and any other details etc. That would be really helpful. Thanks! :)
