Can you gain length from stretching, alone?

Just as it reads.

Some have but most need to supplement with jelqing at least.

At some point most who stay on the PE journey seem to introduce other methods such as hanging, clamping, pumping or some form of ADS.

Any single growth method will always have some constraints. Multiple methods simply improves the odds that you will become a grower.

Multiple methods? If that is the case, why does the newbie routine only consist of stretching and jelqing? But, getting back to the multiple methods approach, what multiple methods, aside from stretching and jelqing, would you recommend?

The way I see it, an exercise either falls into the girth category or the length category. I agree that using multiple methods helps to ensure growth though.

The reason the newbie routine works so well for newbs is because it covers length and girth. You don’t need every single possible exercise all at once to gain. A newbie usually only needs jelqing and stretching to see any sort of gain (whether it be in girth or length).

What routine have you been using?

My PE’ing has been a very on and off thing (the most I did PE in a row was around 4 months stopping due to injuries). Every time I’ve PE’ed, though, I’ve had gains. I’ve only ever really done the newbie routine and slight variations of it. I always felt, while doing it though, that I was doing it very well. Each stroke and second stretching felt very thorough.

I tried clamping for a week or so and then read enough (on this site) that one shouldn’t move up to more extreme exercises until they’ve maxed out the gains from the lower ladder exercises. So I stopped clamping and put the clamp aside for later use. Other than the clamp for that week, I’ve only ever done jelqing and stretching, some horses and some Ulis.

Over the years, I’ve gained 1.5”+ from stretching only. Never gained anything noticeable from other methods.

It seems as though you’ve made some pretty decent gains over the course of a year, especially for being on and off.

Powpow, were you jelqing or doing anything else besides stretching when you gained that 1.5 inches?

That’s something I, too, would like to know.

I’m a little mystified by how stretching seems to work so much better than hanging for a lot of people. I would think that hanging, since you can do other things at the same time, would promote longer sessions, more weight, etc if one wanted (or could do same duration and force as stretching as wanted), and so it would at least be just as good as stretching. Can anyone tell me reasons why this is not the case?

A long time ago, I decided that pulling on my dick could maybe make it longer. What I did:

-75 “stretch-kegels”. Pull a stretch at about 45 degrees over parallel and kegel. I kegeled real slow. Doing my 75 reps took me 10-15 min so I mean real slow.
-3x5 min long stretch: 1 slightly below parallel, 1 slightly over parallel and 1 at about 45 degrees over parallel. I stretched for 5 min straight and took no break between each set. I pulled like a mad man (be careful and wait until you know your own limits).

I gained 3cm in about 5 weeks when I started doing that. I kept doing this same routine for years and never gained anything more. I stopped it, jelqed for a year (gained nothing) then I decided to start doing this same routine I started with but I dropped the “stretch-kegel”, I also jelqed in the morning. I gained 1 cm in about 2 weeks and then nothing.

Is two a multiple?

Anyway, I meant at least 2 methods (as in stretching and jelqing AKA Newbie Routine).

That’s all I did for the first 3 months of PE and then I started adding ‘devices’ from there including an air clamp (added a bit of girth), cable clamps (never got comfortable using them), Power Jelq (still working with this one but with no extra growth to speak of) and pump (seem to be getting a bit of temporary length and girth only at this stage). I recently took delivery of a Static Stretcher but it’s still early days (biggest problem is it’s a bit visible to wear all day at work).

I went from 6 1/4” to just under 7” length and 4 1/2” to 5” girth in the first 6 months and I reckon I got most from stretch & jelq.
