Anyone TRULY actually gain from jelqing

Typically perform them improperly? Could you throw out a few of what you feel are the most common mistakes? Standard wet jelking specifically.

I’m not challenging you, just suddenly concerned that I might be unknowingly doing something wrong. I’ve had quick, modest gains in both length and girth, so I assume I’m doing them right, but hell if it’s typical to get such a basic exercise wrong, it wouldn’t surprise me to be goofing up somewhere. Don’t worry too much about it Eroset. If you are gaining you are most likely doing it right. The people that typically do them wrong are typically the people who don’t interact enough here to know how to do them properly. You have to remember for every active member there are 4 inactive, and in that active group I would venture to say that there are only 25% of us who regularly interact on the site. So typical behavior is relative. Did I just confuse evryone else or just myself. :D

Anyway, bottom line, if you are gaining keep doing what you are doing. :leftie:

I dont think I need to reread your post, as I replied to the part I wanted to. I knew exactly what you were saying, and although maybe I didnt quite cover it, I believe decent (considerable) gains ARE possible from jelqing alone.

However I am not prepared to “guinea pig” this theory on myself ;)

I am a guinea pig on that theory. I jelqed pretty much exclusively for a period of about a month (give or take a week). I gained girth, but no length. I would say that the lack of response to the original question would support the fact that jelqing alone won’t typically give you decent length gains. Of course we may need to specify what decent length gains are. :leftie:

I did not gain significantly by jelqing alone.

In the first month I jelqed I gained 0.4 inch, but for some reason because of holidays and stuff I stopped.

I didn’t realize the wave I’d cause by using the word “typical”. RTG ran away with it! :)

Did you only jelq Phoenix?

We also have to consider that newbie length gains attributed to jelqing alone could very well be mainly due to an increase in erection quality.

  • Most might use the wrong intensity when jelqing (not enough or too much)
  • Only doing quick jelq strokes
  • Not jelqing for long enough
  • Jelqing too long
  • Wong grip

Those are the main ones.

I jelqed and streched, but in a way jelqin is a way of streching, because when you push towards the head with pressure you kind of strech, so therefore it makes it a girth and length excercise.

And maybey your right some of that gain could have been better erction quality, but I find it a little unlikley because I was at the age of 18 and healthy.

Every single exercise in PE is about stretching in one way or another. When we use the term “Stretching” we mean without forcing blood into the penis.

You’d think that younger guys would have great erection quality, but you’d be wrong. Guys rarely get 100% erections even with PE. Granted that younger guys have better erections, but doesn’t mean it wouldn’t be improved.

My erections are stronger and harder now at thirty-something than they ever were at 18. And I was pretty active at 18. :mwink: Doing PE exercises takes your penile health to a level it cannot acheive without them (well if you do them correctly :leftie: ).

I know that jelqing does stretch the tunica and that is why I said gaining in length can result from jelqing. My whole point was the fact that significant length gains typically are not acheived by jelqing alone. The fact that you stretched as well as jelqed most likely contributed to your .4 gains.

I’ll stop beating the dead horse now. But the only way I will change my point of view is if a bunch of guys chime in and say that they have gained a decent amount of length by jelqing alone. I will always admit when I am wrong. You have to prove it first though. :leftie:

I gained an inch in length, and virtually nothing in girth from jelquing.. So it is great for length, along with stretches.

I gained an inch my first year with jelqing alone and a small amount of stretching I think jelqing is still the best all around exercise and should be part of everyone’s workout. It also is very healthy for your dick. Right now I’m into clamping but I still jelq in between clamping sets also before and after.

I agree with that statement whole heartedly Dino. Everyone should jelq. It is the foundation for good gains.
