I came across a youtube video on jelqing. The narrator seems pretty knowledgeable, but I noticed that he said to jelq EVERY single day. Maybe that seems more acceptable when there isn’t any stretching involved, but I want to know what you guys think about that. Have the big gainers ever said they go every day or maybe just a single day off in the week?

You can stretch every day after the first few weeks of doing PE, but if you are jelqing quite a bit, you need a couple of rest days a week.

Firegoat, are you saying that you need to take a couple days off from PE entirely (i.e., both stretching and jelqing) or that you can stretch every day and just not jelq a couple days a week?

As I understand it, jelq every other day and stretch when you want if your penis doesn’t feel beaten down.

Personally, I jelq and stretch almost everyday unless I become really sore or have other negative PI’s. Probably not the best method to go about PE, but I really enjoy the feeling of being worked out. That being said, I did not do this until after completing the Newbie Routine.

There has been a couple guys that claimed they jelqed basically everyday for a year and had massive gains. I cannot remember the full details, but in a post I read a while back, the guy claimed to have had 3” gains in one year. Sounds slightly absurd to me, but anything is possible and I guess there have been people on Thunders with crazy gains. His post is floating around the archives somewhere, I wish I could remember more in depth what he was talking about so I could post the link here. For some reason I want to say he read a book from a middle eastern country that outlined PE passed down from father to son.

I say, Newbie Routine, then do whatever works for you and also yields results. People that are happy with their PE experience, are usually the ones who found a routine that worked for them and stuck to it.

This guy was pretty intense with his workouts. I did not read the full post but that looked like someone you are referring to that likes to skip off days.

That makes a lot of sense but it never occurred to me. I thought the “beaten down” effect was due to stretching rather than jelqing so I always emphasized jelqing but still ended up with over-fatigue. I’m looking forward to backing off from jelqing a bit and seeing if I start seeing gains again and better PIs.

Now I am just playing the devils advocate.

This thread was interesting as well, but he gives the exact opposite view from the two I outlined in my last post.

I tend to take a couple of days rest a week, but will do ‘piss-pulls’ regularly on those days. As you can see from the other posts in this thread, it’s best (after the first few weeks) to experiment and find out what suits your penis best.

Yeah, I’ve been trying to ramp things up a bit over the past 3 or 4 months by stretching and jelqing roughly equal amounts of time per session such that I end up around 45 minutes a session. I often go 4 or 5 days in a row and take a day off but I think that my be too much. My progress has been seemingly glacial since I’ve been at it for something close to 3 years and still haven’t gained an inch in length. Consequently, I recently started doing fulcrums but my PIs have not been great so I think opting out of jelqing every other day might be a good experiment.

Thanks for the great feedback gentlemen. I will take your advice and stick with the newbie routine recommendation for the time being. I will be sure to keep you updated with my results and future regimes
