I found out that if I edge for some consecutive days without coming, my balls hurts so much that the only thing that can soothe me down is cumming.

This not cumming bullshit if valid at all, just applies to the first couple of hours following your PE routine. For me, I don’t even believe in that.

Ejaculating on a regular basis is good for you and your prostate health. Obviously you are experiencing the bad effects of not cumming and for no good purpose. My advise to you is drop this ineffective technique and get back to ejaculating on a regular basis.


The primary goal of PE should be to make your penis as healthy as possible in both form and function. If you do that, increased size will follow.

However, if after you apply stress, you have contraction that lasts for more than 30 minutes and see a noticeable decrease in EQ that lasts for hours or more, then it is very likely that it will impact your PE gains negatively.

Personally, I find edging can have all the stress of PE, with none of the gain potential. Of course, a short course of a few minutes is far different than hours…you have to judge the impact it has on your EQ.

The reason this has been controversial is that some guys report they can slam their dicks in a door, fuck for days and days and still get gains. Others have reported that gains come to a halt if they jerk off afterward. Both reports are correct, because there is a huge variation in both the stress and ability to handle that stress among guys.

So the short answer is (for those still awake after trying to follow this) is you must assess your individual response to the applied stress.

But the fact is, it’s not like PE is a science. If someone who is experienced in PE gives an advice, it doesn’t mean that it will work for anyone but himself, since we are all different.

What I am sure of is that not ejaculating at all is not healthy for your prostate. If your balls hurt, that can’t be a good sign.

The simple rule to follow around here is, if is causes pain or discomfort, you are doing it wrong.

If you want to practice semen retention, for whatever reason, you might want to give Dick Control: A Primer a read. It’s important to circulate that energy around and work/play with it if you’re not gonna squirt. With practice, you won’t get blue balls anymore.

I only cum every 3 weeks, and have just decided to move on to 4 weeks. I am not recommending semen retention to anyone else, just pointing out that it is possible. However, in my case, I hardly get any “blueness” at all, but I may be a little older than some of you (41). We have sex 10 - 15 times a month, plus I edge as part of my PE.

I would say, if it hurts - don’t do it. My view is that it is something to try when you’re getting on a bit. Young guys can make plenty of spunk all day long.
