Hi, I have been reading this forum for a while now and I am about to start PE. I am currently NBPEL: 5.2 inches and EG: 5.2 inches. I’m not bothered about my girth but my length is a concern. I was wondering if gaining 3/4 inch in 3 months is a realistic goal ? Also, is there a specific grip when doing jelq that would be better for length e.g. Is the overhand grip more effective then the standard grip ?

First of all, abandon the “is it possible to gain an inch in 3 months if I really really try” idea. PE doesn’t work that way.

Start with the newbie routine for at least 3 months. You may or may not be one of the lucky ones who get massive newbie gains; but you will have a healthier and bigger dick, that’s for sure.

Go easy man, you don’t want an injury.

It is a high goal, but possible. As Chicken said, you’ll only find out once you start. The key is being consistent and persistent. Most people can’t.

Your growth will likely slow as time goes on, as it does for most people. In other words, you shouldn’t count on a quarter inch every month for a year. You may start with a quarter inch or more in the first month, but then decrease to 3/16 and 1/8 in the following months. Just factor that into your expectations and that you may or may not be able to find ways to overcome that.

I do dry jelqs, but I do recommend the overhand grip. I feel I can apply more pressure as I push into my pelvis to get a grip on the base.

But it can’t be said enough: getting big gains is not about how hard you “try.” Which indicates to me you have an idea it’s about applying a lot of elbow grease and working really hard; the net effect of that being that you are forcing something.

That sort of thinking leads to injury.

Think about PE as a prolonged exercise in physical therapy. It’s not how hard you try, it’s how often you try it. And know this: results are predicated on maintaining the overall health of you and your dick as a first priority.

Do the Newbie Routine for at least three months and you could well gain an inch - who knows? But don’t beat yourself up trying to get big gains fast.

Thanks for all the replies I’m going to start PE very soon but one concern I have is discoloration. I have read this is common but are there any ways around this or at least decrease the chances of getting it. I’ve also read that people are using vit K cream to help, should I start using this front eh start or only when I see signs of discolouration ?


Your dick will probably get a little darker but take time off and it goes.

Currently 6.5 NBP 5.5EG.

The discoloration won’t be that bad if all you’re doing is the newbie routine. You’ll probably get some petechia with your first few days of jelqs, which will fade to a slight bronze tone. The major discoloration comes from hanging, clamping and other stuff you’re advised not to get into until you’ve been conditioned.

Well thing is .. I am indian and have light / medium brown skin but my penis is already dark brown so I’m worried about it getting darker
If I use a Vit K cream from teh start do you think it would help. Are there any ways to reduce the chances of getting discolouration ?

Just warm-up correctly and I doubt you’ll get discoloration from the newbie routine. Mine just looks like I’ve been tanning, actually a good color :) Much better than those pale white ones, imo.

Seriously it won’t get that much darker - probably only enough that you can tell, but doubtful that anyone else would notice.

I may be fooling myself, but I think heat also helps prevent discoloration a little bit.

But just for your info, i gained a quarter inch in 2 and a half months from jelqs and maunal stretching.


Beginning (no PE) (6-30-08--7.25" BPEL, midshaft 4.6" EG) ** (7-1-09 -- 7.25" BPEL, midshaft 5.1"EG)

3/4” is a stretch like most said. I gained about 1/4” in about 1 and a half months.

August 2008: NBPEL 4"

Is it possible? Absolutely, but everyone’s body is different.stick to the newbie routine for the 3 months and 90% of the time you will see some gains. Do a lot of stretching!
