Over a year in PE and next to no gains. suggestions

Hey guys, I’ve sniffed around here, made a few posts and most of all done a LOT of reading on this site. I started PE just over a year ago. Below I will list how my routine has progressed, as well as address PI and EQ.

Starting measurements (August 2009): BPEL: 7.625in EG:6.25in bone-pressed flaccid stretched length: 7.5in flaccid BP length:4in

Current measurements (December 2010): BPEL: 7.625 in EG: 6.25in bone-pressed flaccid stretched length: 8in flaccid BP length: 5.75in

Original routine (August 2009): newbie routine from this site

First change (September 2009): newbie routine plus 10 minutes pumping at 3-4 in of vacuum

Second change (Early October 2009): newbie routine plus 2 10 minute pumping sessions at 3-5 in of vacuum

Third change (Late October 2009): newbie routine plus 2 20 minute pumping sessions at 3-5in of vacuum

Fourth change (January 2010): newbie routine plus 2 20 minute pump sessions at 3-5in, with 5 minutes jelqing between sessions

Fifth change (February 2010): the above with 10 minutes of jelqing between sessions.

Sixth change (April 2010): the above, with 5 additional minutes of stretching after pumping

Most recent change (November 2010): added X4 labs extender worn roughly 25-30 hours per week at ~800-900g of traction.

PI’s:

Noticeable flaccid gains. As noted in the above numbers, my bone pressed erect length used to be longer than my stretched flaccid length. Now my stretched flaccid is a good big longer, while my erect length has remained the same. My girth has been largely unchanged, erect or flaccid.

No discoloration or numbness. No pain, no spotting.

My refractory period has always been very short. That hasn’t changed. Here lately, with the girl I’ve been having sex with: I’ve stayed hard even after cumming, provided we just keep having sex. Nothing short of a blessing, I know.

One thing I’ve noticed is that my erection quality was always an indicator for me. When I began a new routine, erections would decrease in hardness for a few days to a week, and then would be back to normal, and gradually get to be very high quality. Then I would change my routine, and the same thing would happen again. The ONE exception is the April change. I experienced weaker erections for about 2-3 weeks, then they came back strong and stayed that way.. Until about September of this year (2010). Erection quality has varied a lot these past few months. I have never lost the ability to become erect, but they are often times not as strong as they have been in the past. This seemed to happen for no reason at all.

I have noticed no changes in PI’s since adding the X4 labs extender a month ago. But have noticed some flaccid gains.

EQs:

1. Ease of erections: I’d say 8 out of 10. I’m never “not able” to get one, but once in awhile (less than twice per month) it takes some convincing.
2. Erections are quite frequent. Sometimes too frequent, waking me at night at times. 9.5 out of 10
3. Hardness of erections: 7 out of 10. I’m not happy with hardness of erections at this point.
4. Lasting erections: they last as long as I need them to. 9 out of 10
5. Refractory period discussed above. 9.5 out of 10
6. Night and morning wood: 9.5 out of 10 erections are at their hardest in the morning.

I should say, I’m doing this for myself. I know I’m above average, and every female I’ve been with has commented that I’m “big”. So it’s not as if I have a complex about it.. But I figure “why not?”. No one every complained about my body, but I started going to the gym when I was 14. This is just something else I picked up almost 10 years later.

Anyhow.. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to improve this routine? I’ve gained literally nothing as far as erect gains are concerned, and I’m a bit surprised. I’ve done this faithfully for over a year now with no measurable erect gains (though I do feel that I’m in better sexual health as a result of PE).

For the record, I’m 24 years old.

Thanks for reading, and hopefully responding.

You are not about average but big.

Stretched gains do come before erect gains generally, so I’d say before or after you should see. Have you gained bodyweigth in this span of time?

About your routine, I’d say you added pumping too early. I’d add some fulcrum stretches if you are interested mostly in length, stopping with the pump for some months.

You know, I thought about including details on bodyweight and then didn’t, haha. I know why you ask, perhaps the fat pad at the base of the penis had thickened. But to (finally) answer your question: I’ve gained about 5 lbs. But my body fat has in fact dropped. A year ago I was 190@13% bodyfat or so, and now I’m 195@12%. I keep solid tabs on weight and bodyfat, because I’ll soon be competing in martial arts and will have to weigh in.

In any event, thank you for your feedback. I am not familiar with fulcrum stretches, so I will have to look into that. I’m sure I can find info on that here at Thunder’s. New stretching techniques may be needed for me. I never experienced the “lig pops” that most speak of.

Your assumption was correct, I am seeking length gains more than girth.

Have you taken a deconditioning break at all? Also, when did you notice that your stretched flaccid length exceeded your BPEL?

I take a “week off” (5-7 days typically) here and there. Usually every 8-10 weeks. I keep it fairly tightly correlated with my “week off” from lifting at the gym. I just take that time to let my whole body recover. Is this not often enough for PE, or too often?

I noticed the stretched flaccid length exceeded BPEL a couple months ago. But I only measure every 4-6 weeks, so it may have been the case prior to that.

If I read something like this, I always answer: get another hobby, you’re not good in pe. ;)
Sometimes that’s really the problem.. The comprehension isn’t there.

Like marinera, I’d also say that you added pumping way much too early.
How many off days did you had? 5on2off?

My advice: take a break for some months, without doing any kind of pe.
After this, start new with the newbie routine and this time do the
Routine 2-3 month without adding any kind of experience exercises.

Maybe increase the time of jelqing and stretching from week to week;
And be sure you work with much heat - that’s really important. Because
The newbiegains are pure strain-gains.

And after that 2-3 month of newbie routine, try to use the tsm to create
An good routine for length gaining.

Wish you luck

I think you’re referring to the number of days that I pumped. Typically it was 3-4 days per week. I was doing it almost every day for a short time, but found that I preferred 3-4 days instead.

I do use plenty of heat, that part I understood from day one. Hot wrap before, and after jelqing (including the jelqing between pump sessions), and I wrapped the pump in a heating pad during use. I also use a heating pad when using the X4 extender. So atleast that part I’ve got down, haha.

Take a decon break, change up your routine, push the intensity of your routine until you see negative PI’s then take a step back. Use infrared light as a warmup method.

Hope something works for you.

Hmm..

Well I know that’s not what you want to hear, but really, get another hobby. Maybe you’re
Really wasting your time and you are one of the unlucky guys which are not able to gain.

Your unit is way big enough anyway. ;)

If I hadn’t gained anything after one year, I would know what to do.or better what not.
There are so many much more important things in life and life is really short.think about it.

Judging from the advice given so far, it looks like thats what I’ll be doing. What are the advantages of infrared light over hot wraps and heating pads?

Thanks :-)

Hahaha! I like you man, serious or not- the way you put your words together is funny, man.

I live a pretty normal life outside of PE. I work 40 hours a week, keep a full gym schedule with weight training and martial arts training, etc. So it’s just something I fill my time with at home. In any event, I doubt I’ll be giving up so soon- but I may eventually if I don’t find something that is giving me results that seem worth my time.

Thanks for your input in the thread.

Lots of threads on here about the advantages:

Infrared light is able to achieve deep tissue penetration, not just superficial heating.

“Infrared light is an electromagnetic radiation that has a frequency between 1-430 THz and a length of .7-300 micrometers. Infrared light has a wavelength that is longer than visible light. It is very useful because it offers the same benefits that sunlight has without the side effect of solar radiation. This means you don’t have to worry about your skin getting burned after you have used the infrared light therapy system.

The light rays can be divided into three basic categories: short, medium and long infrared light. Most of the radiation that feels like heat is actually infra-red rays. These rays are able to penetrate the skin by up to 2 to 3 centimeters when they are activated. This makes the infrared light ideal for treating different injuries to the muscle or ligaments in the body.”

Oh, okay I gotcha. I’ll look into that, as well.

I wanted to get some clarification on this. By fulcrum stretching, are you referring to V-stretches? The only things I found when searching for fulcrum stretching was the V-stretching, and hanging techniques. I wasn’t sure which you were referring to, but figured you meant V-stretches.

‘V’ and ‘A’ stretches, Mem’ stretches (search for ‘Mem’ momentous gain mechanism’ - or something), basically any kind of stretches done using a round object as a fulcrum. Don’t use too much force, though.

If your stretched length is more than it was, your penis is longer; this is obvious. If you can’t see the difference in erect length, than your EQ isn’t high enough and/or you gained some girth that is hindering length gains. Keep working on it and have faith - I know it is hard to hear after 1 year of work, but that’s it.
