Hello,

I didn’t find a solid thread with detailed answers about the newbie routine, especially not one including Bathmate. If there is a thread answering all of the below then please point me there!

FIRST PART:

My routine before was
a1) Full body warm shower a minute or two, warmer than regular “clean myself” shower. Shaking penis a bit to get blood flow.

a2) Stretching a total of 10x 30 seconds.

The usual order is in the five directions, 30 secs in each direction, and two rounds of that, in summary 2x5x30s. All-round streching (literally).

Sometimes I change it, 30s SO, 30s SD, then repeat five times, in summary 5x2x30. Focusing more on two important directions.

QUESTION 1: Is one of these two stretching alternatives more effective than the other? Why?

Then I’ve sometimes added slow cranking, about 10 secs per crank, and 5x CW, then 5x CCW. The slow speed allows me some control of the force. Maybe could go even slower.

QUESTION 2: Is there really any point in doing the cranking when I’ve already done the regular stretching? How effective is cranking compared to the regular stretching?

Then moving on:

a3) Jelqing 50-70 slow ones, somewhere between wet and dry, I use lube but skin tends to partly move with the fingers. Low-ish pressure but increasing it slowly up to medium hard or so the last few.

QUESTION 3: What is the optimal pressure and how does it change during an effective newbie set?

QUESTION 4: I frequently have very low erection during jelqing but it still seems to do something. I know one shouldn’t have 100% but is there an optimal erection level?

a4) Shower again, warm “down”.

SECOND PART:

Now I have bought a Bathmate X30 and I think I’ll probably still do days without it and then just like the optimized version of the above. But of course the reason for buying it was to play with it and hopefully benefit.

b1) warm shower

b2) Bathmate 2 + 3 + 5 minutes moving up in pressure but never into pain. Is this better than one long 10 minute set gradually increasing pressure? Is there any point with the rest in between?

How to best combine it with the newbie routine?

I have tried jelqing between BM sets, and I’ve tried jelqing after BM sets. In both cases the penis is much fuller than during regular jelqing so I suspect it to be more effective. I’ve also tried stretching 2x5x30 before the BM sets. I have no idea what would be the best combination.

Logically, the stretching gives more length than girth, but not only. Then the jelqing gives more girth than length, but not only and depends how you do it too. Question is what the BM does? It definitely gives girth, but it also obviously pulls on the cock so I think it might give length as well.

QUESTION: What is a good newbie routine combining the regular newbie routine with Bathmate?

Newbies should only use their hands, not pumps or clamps or stretchers. Add your pumping in after at least three solid months of newbie. If newbie is still working, then wait longer to add pump.

The reason for this is that you need to be fully conditioned and have the knowledge of your penis you need regarding how far you can push with out injuring yourself. You need this before using a device, as it is too easy to injure yourself.

To me the bathmate is particularly problematic for newbies, as it has no pressure gauge. Therefore it is very easy to pump at too high of a pressure.

That will give you some ideas about gradually increasing your current newbie routine.

So while you are doing that, read a lot in the pumpers forum. Lots of great info. Pumping is mostly a girth exercise but some have gained length with it.

Yes I do use “linear” in the sense that I can increase repetitions and sets. I started with two sets of stretch but otherwise the same routine.

Right about the pump, it is very easy to pump too hard. Still, I will continue using it, because it’s just too fun. I want to seriously build it gently into a linear newbie routine.

There is one aspect that speaks FOR using the BM in my case, because my EQ is poor and I suspect that makes the jelqing ineffective. (See question 3+4 above). After some (gentle) pumping the penis is more erect and “big” and it really feels like jelqing then is more effective. Any comment on that? (and questions 3+4?)

As I mentioned, I cannot resist integrating the BM into the routine. (Sorry if that upsets you sta-kool. I really do listen 99% of the time here, but… this tool is too fun to play with!)

It’s only been 10 days so far. No injury. No length gains. A feeling of possible girth gain.

ı just complete three months not newbie rouine I wanted to mean. I just add bathmate water pumping to my newbie routine end of 3 months.

here is my routine;

10 min hot warm up with heat pat and heated towel
15-20 min manuel stretch to all directions with heat pad
200-300 wet jelqs
5 min water pumping with medium pressure
30 jelqs and massage with hot water
7 min water pumping with a little over medium pressure
30 jelqs and massage with hot water
10 min water pumping with high pressure, I reach 7,10’ in the bathmate,
I kegel 200-300 times when I am in the tube

You reach that far 7.1”!? Which model do you have? I only get to approximately 5.75” (the record so far) in the BM. I have the X30. It’s stupid because I am definitely 6.5” without the pump.

you can see my threands I have some pictures, I am having 6 inches girth when I am in bathmate.

I have bathmate hercules. this week I reached 7,5 inches in bathmate.

it is not difficult for me to reach 7-7,5 inches in lenght in bathmate.

I am watching porn while I am jelqing and I am being as erect as I can. than I am putting my unit in bathmate.

every threee min I am pumping again than I am reaching 7-7,5 inches

That’s quite impressive!

I measured my X30 now with a ruler. When not compressed a real 7” is at the 5.5” mark. Pressing it down, the real 7” ends up at 6” or maybe 6.25” depending on how hard you press. Not very accurate.

So assuming it is half compressed while I’m using it, the real 7” would be approx at the 5.75” mark.

I start pumping after stretching so I start flaccid or 20% erect. It becomes erect or 80% so while pumping.
