Thought would let you know. This is one of the reasons I am cautious as a Newbie. Although I have no proof, I think this guy has been overdoing.

Yeah I saw it. I don’t totally understand it, other then the glads on his penis heads are hurting. He might be over doing it. I stretch manually mainly. I’ve never had that problem. I also use my ADS no problems there either. You will be fine with the Newbie routine if you need something for better grip I always use baby powder.

J123, I recently jumped on the “less is more” bandwagon after going nearly a year without gains. I have since noticed slight gains and I am interested in your idea. Do you use this routine yourself or do you use a different one? You said to do the routine every other day or 2 on and 1 off for the newbies, do you recommend the same for the advanced routine? Starter47 - have you noticed any changes even in these early days? Did you feel that you needed to take a break before starting or did you begin the routine immediately.

I joined Thunders recently. I did a lot of reading here (a week or so, a few hours a day) to gather information and make my own analysis. Then I started with the Newbie Routine (a reduced version on my own). Subsequently I read J123’s thread which confirmed my views. I am not an expert on PE but have a more than average knowledge of human body and medical aspects. So I wanted to approach PE in an intelligent way without overdoing. Especially due to not being a young guy :) , I wanted to avoid risks.

It’s now close to two weeks since I started. Well, it’s pointless to start measuring so early. In fact I didn’t want to be obsessed with the size. But you can take it from me that since I started PE, I feel great. The flaccid size is certainly a bit more and I see that the unit looks also better when erect. When I started, I said to myself that I will do my first accurate measurements after 4 weeks of PE routine. (see Post #2). I will certainly record my progress here as promised to J123. So check-in regularly.

What did you mean by “break before starting”? . The only break was getting a good theoretical knowledge by reading a lot of relevant threads at Thunders before I started. As mentioned earlier, this is my first serious effort on PE.

What is your view on JAI stretches? Seems to me this fits into the “lower impact” type of stretching as opposed to long manual stretches or ADS.

I am so glad I stumbled across this thread. I have attempted pe so many times I’ve lost count. I always start off well and then after a few days or weeks my interest dwindles and I pack it in. I used to stand there and jelq like three or four hundred reps but over the days/weeks just got fed up of it. I am going to start this routine and stick to it even it it kills me. I will give regular posts on any gains I make. I am also attempting to pack in the beer drinking and start a good food diet AND get fit. I am such an idle bastard. I am 38 years old and I used to weight train regular, eat well, fuck the wife almost daily. I AM NOW DETERMINED TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT.

OK, safely back again (well, I saw one moose, but it had already crossed the road).

The pleasant surprise was, that when I measured my dick after I got home, I got about 3 mm bigger reading, than before my midsummer holiday. The couple days rest made wonders.

Beenie169, I use Linear routine, of course. Right now I do about 200 jelqs (dropped it to 180 after vacation) and very light Ulis and 3- 5 stretch to all directions (little variation depending about direction) + 2 v-stretch.
I do my routine every other day and perhaps once a week or a week and a half I have one 2 days rest.
And yes I recommend every other day or 2 on 1 off to advanced routine also.

Fauxreal, the JAI stretches seems just fine, just remember to control the number of stretches. If I have understood JAI stretches right, they are supposed to be at least as effective as normal stretches, so it is good to remember this when you plan the number of stretches.

I would like to add, that I do jelqs a bit differently, than usual (done both way, but I prefer this).

When I jelq with the other hand I do a bit like V-jelq, but with normal jelqing grip so, that the sides of my fingers puts pressure to the sides of my penis (hand is above penis), then with the other hand I jelq just normally. Then I just repeat this.

Based on my own experiences, it is bad when you are clearly resting (penis). I have done it quite much (usually without ejaculation) and I have done it mainly, because of fun. If you are on some routine, that has a clear purpose, I think, that ballooning is waste of time and does more bad, than good.
At one time it was almost biggest reason for my overdoing, because it can significantly add healing time and if you don’t add healing time in your routine, result is overdoing. That is why I don’t do ballooning anymore.

Well, my opinion about ballooning and it is same about edging was mainly assuming, that you do those exercises separated from your actual routine. My point was, that outside your actual routine it is best just to rest and doing ballooning and edging will harmfully disturb the resting. However the case is different if it is a part of your actual routine with jelqing, stretching and so on. It doesn’t matter, that are you newbie or not.
Most useful it could be before jelqing (no ejaculation), but the time used to it may not compare with results.

To that base girth question I have no real answer, that is why I say here my short opinion about it.
Some advanced exercises like clamping may actually help with it, but I don’t recommend it at least before you are in your length goal and still it leaves some questions.

My advice right now is, that use a tighter grip at the base when you are jelqing and loosen it enough when you reach the thicker area.
