Let me ask the wise PEers :
Hello ! This a little long but please bate with me.
I can almost guarantee this has NEVER been asked.
I have a muscle disease where basically the muscles in my body are really weak and don’t regenerate.
(I know this disease affects my skeletal muscles but not too sure if my smooth muscles are affected)
Example of me trying to build muscle : if I went to the gym and did anything besides light cardio ,( ie something that causes purposeful micro tears to the muscle) I would not get bigger but would lose muscle mass as my body does not have the ability to build new muscle.
My question is in YOUR exerpertise and opinion, is it safe for a newbie like me to gain?
