If PE really works, why is there no scientific evidence

Here is the ANSWER. There is scientific evidence. That scientific evidence is known as the forum at Thunder’s place.

What do you mean by science? Usually, a science is a community of scholars, who study something and then share results and opinions, isn’t it?

Personally, I know no university, academia, etc, where one can find a Department or Faculty of PE. I don’t know anyone who holds publicly awarded PhD in PE. But that’s only because society is deeply insane and hypocritical at the bottom. People are still not emancipated in many aspects. IMHO, we are still somewhere in the middle between N. Korea and a really normal society, where people don’t feel embarrassed to discuss important questions.

But that doesn’t mean there are no experts in the field of PE. We have some. There is a quite long list of them at Thunder’s. Just to name a few: westla, avocet8, sparkyx, firegoat.

Let’s consider for example sparkyx. He’s developed the system of PI and their relation to PE. Many find his ideas very helpful and workable. And we, as the community of PEers, trust him much more when it comes to PE-related issues than some incompetent urologists or pseudo-scientists, who might say that PE is impossible. Because 90% of those who tried PE have seen the GAINS, ranging from 0,3” to 2,5-3”.

And if a pseudo-scientist says a load of rubbish about PE, we just laugh at him and think “bla-bla-bla”. We’ve seen the gains, and hopefully, there are more to come.

Do we need scientists? - No, thank you very much. We have our own. Much more competent BTW. And it ain’t a problem for us that they don’t hold formal PhD in very abstract subjects.

Medical research is mostly funded either by the government, in which case you had better be studying something that is considered to have a real impact on human suffering, or private industry or individuals, in which case you had better have a foreseeable way to profit significantly from the research.

On the first count, the medical community considers the appropriate treatment for the “suffering” caused by having a smallish or average sized penis to be psychological counseling, not risky exercises involving the penis. Indeed, cosmetic surgeons in general are sometimes somewhat ostracized in medicine for similar reasons. On the second count, there’s no money to be made in manual PE, and even PE devices are a risky venture unless something truly unique in one’s design could be patented and protected from easy imitation by competitors.

High-quality scientific studies of various controversies in exercise (e.g., how many sets are ideal for growth with weightlifting) are similarly limited in scope and number, despite that being a topic that would not invite ridicule from friends and colleagues.

Please :donatecar to Thunder's Place to keep it running.

The way I see it, penis enlargement is a billion dollar industry that would suffer greatly if scientific proof that manual penis enlargement is possible was published. People would stop buying all the pills, pumps, extenders and whatnot if doctors announced that you can do it all using your hands only which would make a great impact on industry and many companies would not like that very much. It’s just like the oil lobby. As long as there’s oil, electric cars won’t live to see the light of day. Big heads won’t let it.

I will just copy and post one of my replies (here: Are there any actual medical doctors on thunders?

“I wonder if is there any coroner/medical examiner/researcher etc.. (Not sure if the terms are correct).
I was reading the ‘EtP Theory - Big Gainer Compendium’ by wadzilla and it seems great.
Maybe if they could examine some PEer’s live or dead (too morbid? ) they could contribute in the histology scientific point of view.
I think it would be hard to find study subjects, though.”

I think the more information, statistics, etc. the better.

No campaigns for now

The best answer you’re gonna get Keatu. Much better articulated than my response where I attempted to give the same gist of an answer.

The only power a woman has over you is that which you give her.

There is already a billion-dollar industry around PE. My view is that doctors don`t want the public ridicule of being aligned with the behaviour. And further more, there is a vast difference between selling products and services for PE and actually having a penis get bigger. The proof to that is the vast sales of gym memberships and exercise equipment in relationship to the overweight population.

The real cost of PE isn`t the products and services, it`s the dedication to the process, and that can`t be sold.

It is? Can you give a link for that? I find that kind of stuff quite fascinating.

Here you are one

One more thing… If you had, say, cancer and ate some plant that supposedly cures it and really got cured, would you need scientific evidence that it really works?

Same goes for PE. As long as it works for me I don’t give a damn about scientific research. :)

Exactly. It amazes me how some people see scientific evidence as the be all end all. Bottom line: the longer it takes you to start to PE, the shorter amount of time in this world you’ll have with whatever you qualify as a “perfect dick”.

That was really one of the most intelligent remarks I’ve read so far this year, PE is all about dedication. I still find it exciting because I’m still a beginner and urge for my first gains but the real test will occur later in which I hope I can maintain my interest for PE for many years to come.

Guess studies aren’t needed but manual PE hasn’t fared well in public and has received a really bad reputation which probably exaggerates the risk of a major penis-deforming injuries. I’ve never seen any reliable photos that proves that it really works before I joined this forum and that is bad because all you see from the outside is the small percentage of extremely severe penis-damages.

Sorry, if I might seem little repetitive, but it’s a mystery for me why what is published on Thunder’s is not a science, or at least a quasi-science.

First, at least some of us experts in PE, we meet here, discuss different theoretical and practical aspects of PE, including physiological ones.

Second, which is even more important, the majority of us have been reporting gains.

There are only 2 differences between us and conventional science: 1. We don’t call each other Professor and don’t award degrees in PE. 2. We are not financed by government/corporations and not institutionalized as a scientific body.

But these 2 points reflect not science itself but just external attributes of modern science.

Science itself is all about studying something (we do!), making revelations (we do!), taking part in discussions and exchange opinions and results (we do!). Some of our most prominent participants are quite good theoreticians of PE. We don’t call them professors only because we are a democratic community (unlike many modern academic communities where prevail strict hierarchy and authority, quite often at the expense of the truth).

Believe me what I’m telling ya. I myself hold a PhD degree (though I’m a very stupid person at the bottom) and have read a couple of good books on philosophy of science.

Completely agree with you Cummer. This guy obviously doesn’t believe anything unless the mainstream media tells him its valid.

I really appreciate your support, Alrdybig. Thanks! :)

You can’t verify what you don’t study.
