Finished the newbie routine.

I have just finished the newbie routine, which says to increase gradually to 30 mins of jelqing after 6 weeks. I have done so. I think I may have gained about 3 mm of length, but I cannot verify for sure because measuring BPEL is new to me. It appears to be a slight gain though, and after only 6 weeks I’m not expecting much. I’m not sure where to go from here, so, should I do any of the following?

1. Increase jelqing time
2. Increase jelqing quality and intensity
3. Add some more kegels to the jelqing, pre squeeze
4. Add more stretching time
5. Stay the same, at 30 mins jelqing, 10 minutes stretching

Any help on where to go from here is appreciated. I look forward to the day when I can give others advice on how to achieve the gains I did. Right now my BPEL is just over 6” if I press really hard.

One popular approach to this is to continue what you’re doing while you’re still gaining. If your current routine is working for you, keep at that force and duration level. When you stop getting gains, then add frequency, add duration, add force or add a new exercise.

I totally agree with this, there’s no need to change or increase your routine unless you totally stop gaining.


Dec \'23 -> Feb\'24 17.5cm -> 18.5cm BPEL / 12.7cm -> 13.1 MSEG / 18.5cm -> 18.9cm BPFSL (measuring in mm for accuracy)

My First Real Attempt:

2006 Start: 6.25" BPEL and 5" EG - 2012 7.625" BPEL / 4.875" EG / 8.063" BPFSL. (All manual routine)

The only thing I would change is, if needed, the length of stroke. If you do 3 second jelqs, do 4 or 5 second strokes. Or stick with the newb routine and modify only a tiny bit with maybe 30 seconds more stretching, or Mr.Orange bends. Keep it simple and close to what’s working. Don’t go buy a 40 lb weight set and start attaching racing springs to your balls.

So how hard exactly do you guys squeeze? I’m squeezing pretty hard, but not to the point of any pain. Just before the pain starts is a good way of putting it I suppose. Also, the ‘put your next hand on while the other hand is approaching the head’ principle.is that very important? It seems like the purpose of it is to keep the blood in. I’m just wondering if this should be a major point of focus.
