Filling regular dry pump with water?

Filling regular dry pump with water?

Hi.

Can you use a regular dry pump like a Bathmate by filling it with water? Does it have the same effects or does the Bathmate have other benefits except being more comfortable to use?

Did anyone try it out with success?

You can use the tube with water, but most vac pumps will be damaged by fluid entering them. The pistol style vac pumps, which include the brake bleeder pumps, have a rubber gasket which will get stretched by fluid passing through it. The pumping action will continue to create a vacuum but it will no longer hold it when pumping is stopped.

The brake bleeder type have a fluid cup (reservoir) which is inserted between the cylinder and the hand pump. If you are careful you can use it to pump with water, allowing the fluid cup to capture any overflow. The cup and pump need to stay elevated above the tube. Do not let the fluid cup overflow into the hand pump. This is important so I’ll repeat it: the hand pump needs to be elevated higher than the fluid cup.

Initial: 7” BPEL; 6” NBPEL; 5.25” - 5.5” MEG

Current: 7-7/8” BPEL; 7-3/8” NBPEL; 8.5” BPFSL; 6.5” MEG; 6”x5” Flaccid.

Goal: Improved/consistent EQ while managing ED. Secondary: maintain current stats.
