I’m new to this, and pretty sure I can’t stick to a time consuming routine for months based on accounts from (with respect) strangers on the Internet.

I’ve been trying to find evidence of gains on this site and others, and can’t seem to find anything convincing. Even the picture logs are disorganised and usually don’t show before pics.

I’m basically OK with my size - I’d just like a little more if possible - so I don’t feel the need to do PE on it unless it’s demonstrated to work.

What convinced everyone else to start? Was it just a case of why not?

I want to believe.

Found this site while looking for pictures of the pelvic floor and while I knew I was above average, having the chance to add some more seemed interesting.

Don’t bother. Spend your time doing something else. If you aren’t very committed it won’t work anyway, so save yourself some time.

There are enough threads from people 3 months in saying that they violently masturbate every now and again, when they remember, and haven’t gained anything. There’s not a lot of point in joining those ranks.

I was a doubting Thomas also. I tried a little of jelqing with an O-ring and did it on and off for a few months. Then one day my wife said something off the wall while I was fucking her. “You really seem to fill me”. After 35 years of marriage I knew it had to be PE. I measured and as best I could tell my girth had grown. I immediately started Thunder’s PE and never looked back. I’ve gained both physically and mentally. (I no longer think I have a small dick)

It’s a very difficult thing to research, precisely because there is a lot of misinformation on it. This kind of place is the only thing that I find convincing, purely because it’s a public forum with no agenda. I don’t mean to challenge anyone about the validity of PE, you all know from your own experiences. I just wished to start a discussion on the evidence it works. I tried a search and there didn’t seem to be a similar thread.

After spending time reading lots of people’s experiences I’ve found a lot of conflicting information. It’s appears to be highly personal what works and therefore heavily dependent on trial and error. I don’t doubt that many have benefited from it, but if I were to succeed, it seems I would need a large amount of luck as well as determination. I was wondering if others felt similarly. I’ve read through the newbie introduction pages and suggested routines, that would be where I would start, but I would like to hear what sources convinced others to try PE so that I might better understand this secretive topic.

There are clinical studies proving the effectiveness of extenders. One appeared in FitnessRx magazine a few years ago. Gee, what principle was at work? Enlargement of smooth muscle and tissue in response to controlled stress/ tension? Yuppers. But dude, this seems better as a secret.

Anyway, there may be some genetic luck in making some “easy gainers”, but other than that, it’s just tissue and muscle. You are forcing it to change. The question is, which is to be master. That is all. Of course it’s easy to be frustrated, like when you are trying to get 9% body fat to reveal washboard abs. You think, holy hell am I gonna make it to eight inches and a consistent big floppy five and a half inch flaccid? And with both six pack abs and a big pecker, girls are reduced to pure biological reactive cumming machines. I mean it seems like they will literally look past your character flaws, no matter how outsized they are, if you possess but one of these two items.

When I see a girl who is a perfect ten, I really don’t care about her personality. Hell, I’m attracted before she opens her mouth.

This is why it’s great to be a guy. You can become a perfect ten.

Oh, I’m bigger than when I started. And I’m thinner than my fat days. But those holy grails are still out there. We’re all telling you this for free. I think you are wasting your time here tippy. Everyone who has made decent progress had to actually put in the work and try it for themselves - no one ever gained anything without actually doing it. And by ‘doing it’ I mean applying themselves, consistently.

If you are not willing to put in a little effort to try it, without ‘concrete proof’, you sure as anything are not going to stick with it long enough to get results, regardless of what anyone tells you. No one can convince you as well as your ruler can, after a few months of well focussed effort. The correct Yorkshire expression would be “shit, or get off the pot”. I seem to be in ‘blunt’ mode tonight. :)

The first 3 sentences could be applied to just about anything anyone has ever done… ever. There is no such thing as luck. Luck is something people use as an excuse when they don’t want to take responsibility for things that happen. Yes, there are things that happen that aren’t within our power to control, but that’s not luck, that’s circumstance. Cause and effect. It just is. There is no word for it or purpose for why it happens. There is a reason, but not a purpose and those two things are different.

Every single person that started PE did so because they wanted to. They were convinced by their own desire to do so. I started because I felt like giving it a shot. I thought, “I want to find out for myself if this is real,” and that’s what convinced me… my own thoughts and questions and the desire to have an answer. Then you have to define what ‘works’ means. How do you gauge if something ‘works?’ You set up parameters, conduct an experiment and then look at the data… and you do this YOURSELF.

I’ve seen gain in length, minimal gain in girth but gain in overall EQ. So, my conclusion is, it does ‘work.’ I have done this for just about 5 months total, but didn’t really get anything until the past 2 months, when I changed it up with the idea that ‘less is more,’ and focused on form. How much I can get from this still remains to be seen but I’m willing to give it more time to find out because my curiosity has convinced me to do so. Like I said, no outside source will convince you of anything… you convince yourself about everything.
