I started with the Vac Extender Device about three weeks ago and so far have logged around 35 hours. The problem is that my erections seem to have softened during the time. I would often wake up with a 9/10 quality erection and get about that hard for sex as well. Now even when I am aroused its been more like a 7. The start of using this also happened to coincide with finals so stress could be part of it but I don’t think it is considering I have always been able to get hard when I was stressed before. I’ve have heard that an extender is supposed to increase EQ but if it is actually harming it then I’m going to have to quit. My gf is too horny for me not to be hard all the time.

Give it a little more time for your penis to adjust and get used to the continuous stretching. How does it feel? Numb? Are you using it every day? Anyhow, do you exercise your “PC” (use search if you do not know what that is) muscle to improve EQ?

Newbies should not use devices. Hands-only newbie routine for at least three months. Too easy for a newbie to hurt himself with devices.

Well I guess it is easy to over train initially. There is no numbness just some discomfort at the base after I have been stretching for a couple hours. I haven’t stretched every day. Probably 5 out of the 7 past days with an average of 4 hours a day. The most I did in one day was 6 hours. I was thinking about maybe taking out a bar or two I was just worried that if I’m not stretching past my BPFSL then I won’t get any erect gains which are frankly the only gains I care about. I used to have an extender with a noose style end that always slipped out and I never had any EQ problems with it. Its possible that because the VacExtender allows me to go a lot longer without adjusting that it is leading to overtraining.

I understand that I should be doing the newbie program but honestly its just not always practical. I am very busy and the stretcher allows me to do other things while I’m stretching. (Not sure other students would be thrilled if I pulled my dick out in the library and started pulling on it) I am doing PCs but I will work up to more. The most frustrating thing is that my EQ was great before this and I am sure it will recover fine but who doesn’t want the best of both worlds. Although if I had to choose between a hard dick and a big dick I am going to choose hard every time.

And this is exactly how/why newbies get in trouble with devices.

Sorry this will sound pretty harsh, but I am telling you the truth because I want you to avoid injury.

You have no clue what your dick can or cannot handle because you have not done a manual newbie routine. You have not slowly gotten your penis into condition for PE. You have not gotten the visual feedback of seeing your penis during and after PE, so you don’t know how it looks when you are pushing it too hard.

And then because you are “too busy” to put in the time to learn the basics of PE exercises and the right way to treat your penis, you strap your unconditioned penis into a device for 4 hours (!?!?) and hide it in your pants so that you can’t visually see if something is going horribly wrong.

If you seriously want to do PE, then you will need to make time to do it. There are no effortless quick fixes.

Get up earlier. Or stay up later. Do you routine in the shower. Et cetera.

I split my newbie routine in half because it was easier to manage. I did my manual stretches early in the morning, and my jelqs later in the day.

The newbie routine is not a huge time commitment. I recommend you start with this one:

But first things first, get your EQ back in order. Take time off and follow the guidelines in the article I linked to earlier.

Thanks for the response. I’ll start over without the device after a break. Just as note I don’t think anything looked visually wrong just an overexhaustion thing. I did actually do many hours of research before I started doing this, I just figured the extender was the thing I was most likely to stick with. I’ll build up to it before I do it again.

21days, 35hrs logged. Sounded to me like maybe 1hour half days stretching. Stretching your penis for 5hours starting seems a lot to me. Is that what manual says?

My use was sporadic at first and I didn’t really log my hours until the last two weeks and I didn’t use it every day. There is at least one day that I did it for 6 hours a day and there were a lot that were only 2 or 3. At a minimum I have recorded 35 hours of use what I did beyond that I am not exactly sure.

There was no manual that came with it just some instructional videos on The reason I thought 6 hours was ok was basically the reason I started to use an extender, a scientific study I read on that was from another journal, that observed clinically significant gains in flaccid and erect length in subjects that used an extender 4-6 hours a day for 6 months. I realize that the study could have been sponsored by the company but I tend to believe a scientific study over pure anecdotal evidence. At least it was enough for me to suggest I wasn’t wasting my time. Also in the study everyone’s EQ improved which is why I was curious why mine was declining. After reading a lot of posts on here though, it seems to be a common occurrence.

I don’t plan on using the thing for awhile until I have done manual for a month or two and then probably only for an hour to an hour and half a day until I am sure that things are going smoothly.

I plan to jelq for 9 months and if my penis does not see an inch length in that time (looking for girth too of course), will use an extender like you. Maybe you could do same. Maybe you don’t the time like many for that though. But, anyhow yeah, that looks good. Get that EQ sorted.
