ED issues with No PE

I’ve been lurking and reading and curious of what to do. I have ED issues. Main issue is not being able to keep erection without constant stimulation. Also, I am unable to achieve maximum hardness. This is what I have been noticing for the past few years. Also, I am new here and have not started any routine

1. Unable to achieve full size compared to when I was in my early twenties
2. Erection hardness is maybe 75% of what it used to be, maybe even less
3. Erection quickly subsides when stimulation stops ( can’t even take an accurate length measurement )
4. No longer have the “upward curve” like I used to
5. I do have a high drive and wake with morning erections often
6. I do look at porn often ( I am single ) but I know I need to stop. I masturbate 2x a day on average, always with porn.

I am in my early 30’s. I’m overweight and used to smoke. I quit smoking about 9 months ago, and have lost 30 lbs. I still have about 50 lbs more to lose. I am working with a personal trainer and nutritionist to get to an acceptable weight.

My questions are
1. What is the best exercises to do to help regain full erection strength?
2. I hear a lot of talk about kegels but I am afraid I am doing them wrong. When I tense that muscle, I feel a pull in my butt along with a pull in my penis area, is this the right muscle? It feels like the same muscle I used to stop the flow of urine.
3. I also suffer from sever turtling, which sucks because my bone pressed flaccid length is over 3.5 inches, but my fat pad combined with turtling makes me feel uncomfortable.

I am back to reading the forum, would love to hear suggestions. I want to get full erections strength back first, then work on size. Thanks for reading

The thing i felt when i starter jelqing was that my erections became almost oncomfortably hard, My gf commented on it too. My erections has always been really good, i mean rock hard, but tjat boost was just intense, sometimes it felt like it was gonna burst! Then I overdid the jelqing and hurt myself, and since then i have started à more advanced routine. But I know that A REALLY LIGHT jelqing regime really boosted my eq up through the roof! You should try it, but as i said: really light, maybe 40-80 reps 3 times per week.

First, congratulations on the weight loss and on quitting smoking. As for your dick, how are your morning erections? Are they any better than your other erections? You seem like you were pretty happy with your EQ in your early twenties. Were you overweight at that time, or had you put on the weight since then?

Sounds like you are on a big improvement, congrats. This number of changes has a price though, because your mind and body are stressed at some degree. Stop masturbating every day is going to help. Anyway, losing erection without constant stimulation is largely a normal thing once you go past ‘30.

1. Jelqs + Kegel’s.
2. Sounds like you are doing it right. The pull is caused by the anal spincher I guess.
3. Turtling will disappear and actually your penis will start hanging bigger than before. If you are always turtling and you have at least 3 weeks of consistent newbie routine, you are applying too much force and/or your are not doing a proper warm up.

I would guess the linear routine could be the best place to start in your case.

I’m a newb too, and have similar EQ problems as you, thought I am not overweight, am younger, and have never smoked, so I have less excuses :-P

Honestly, I think eliminating the porn and cutting back, if not cutting out, the masturbation, could go a long way. I am trying to same—I would masturbate a lot, almost always to porn, and I think it has to have affected me.

When my girlfriend starts foreplay, or even a handjob, I’ll stay hard for a little while, but shortly after I’ll go limp, and usually I myself have to jerk it to get it back to where it was. I think I’ve conditioned myself to enjoy only my own touch and only to certain porn.

Other than that, careful with kegels. Most resources online say “exercise kegels to improve sex life, improve erections, shoot farther, etc.”, but I feel like they are deeply misunderstood, or at least misused. All the resources I used to refer to say that they make you harder, so I would frequently “pump” my kegel during sex, which actually led to me cumming too quickly. I think having strong kegels is useful, but just like PE, it needs to be researched and you need to understand why you’re doing them.

Being in my early 30’s as well and having had symptoms exactly like yours for a decade (actually they got much worse than yours in the last couple of years), I can tell they’re most likely linked to porn. I’m 100% sure it was the case for me and I was hell of a porn connoisseur.

There’s a theory that porn can cause ED by messing up reward circuitry / dopamine levels in your brain. I’m very sceptical towards pseudoscience so I don’t know whether it’s true. All I know is I started getting my first spontaneous erections in 10 years only a couple of weeks after quitting *all* porn.

Find a TEDx talk called “The Great Porn Experiment” on YouTube, it’s an interesting one even if you don’t buy it. In the movie description there’s also a link to a good site/forum dedicated to porn-induced ED.

Thanks for the response. I am looking into starting jelqs right now. I didn’t know if I would get much from it if I couldn’t stay 100% hard when first starting out. I will take your advice and start off lightly.

Thanks Deville. Good question. My morning wood isn’t super hard either, but it’s consistent, and about the same as my other erections, maybe a little bit better. I had annual blood work done by my GP about a year ago and my testosterone was quite high and all other things were in good ranges. When I was in my 20’s I was in much better shape than I am now, but I’ve never been “thin”. That’s on it’s way to changing. I figure if I lose the rest of this weight ( 50 lbs, maybe even more ) I could get rid of a lot of my fat pad and reveal much more of my dick.

Definitely going to stop the porn. It’s not going to be easy. I am horny all the time. I was reading elsewhere on here that I could “wrap” my penis to help prevent turtling ( along with the routine you suggested?).. Is that a wise thing to do, or should I not consider that right now?

How hard are you working out and dieting? Because both of these combines with stress can kill EQ. The only thing that will help if it’s been awhile since your last good erection is to start jeqling and kegeling for rehab. Give it a few good months and report back. BTW, I had the same thing happen multiple times, use it or lose it I guess…. It takes a while but you’ll get your erections back. A pump does help with this too.

I totally agree with this. I know from my experience of looking at porn on and off for years ( even when in relationships ).. The mind starts to crave kinkier shit. At least for me. I know it’s not healthy and it’s not going to help me out other than quick satisfaction so I will work on this. Now, all of you guys that have given up porn, do you still masturbate? I’m doing that a lot right now, And I can honestly say, I have probably masturbated once a day for 10 years. Maybe even longer. Hell, could be 20 years. If porn wasn’t so easily accessible on my PC, I could probably cut that number down to a third without trying.

Dieting is pretty strict, but I wouldn’t say overly stressful. I cut out that bad foods, and limit my caloric intake. I’m eating a lot of good protein and good quality fats, and have done away with processed carbs. Working out is 1 hour a day. Steady state cardio 4x a week, and 3x a week I do a full body routine just to get my body back into lifting. My trainer wants me to focus on retaining what muscle I do have right now while dieting ( the best I can ) and then when I get closer to my goal weight/bmi.. To reverse my training and diet to focus on muscle building. All of these erections problems I’ve had have been around for at least 5 years. Honestly.. I can’t remember the last time I had a super, raging, about to explode hard dick. Quite irritating.

So a linear routine with jelqing and kegeling will help.. Even when I can’t achieve a full hard on? I really appreciate all the advice everyone has given me on here, and I I am sure to have more questions but will try to search everything first.

No no no, the regular newbie routine may be too much. I really recommend pumping above any other means to rehab and slowly build up your veins and erections. Just a few minutes twice a day up to maybe three 10-15min at 3-4mmhg. Should take you 3-4 weeks total. Just don’t get too comfortable with pumping because too much can destroy your cock and take you even longer to come back from. Great too for rehab. bad choice for total pe gains.

Wrap is not required. Yes the linear newbie routine will help even if you don’t have a full hard-on. After a couple of weeks on the linear routine, you can see how it feels and work up to the full newbie routine in the next couple of weeks or not. You should feel benefits on your erections just after the first few sessions.

Do you have any recommendations for a quality pump for average size guys? Also, when pumping.. I’m going to assume that the penis stays “fuller” for a while after a session. How long does the fullness last? I know there are variables in regards to experience.. Time pumping etc. I’ve always wondered if you pump in the morning if the cock stays fuller all day? Or just while pumping?
