Coffee drinkers who have gained
First things first, my search yielded some good discussions, but no conclusive answers. Obviously, caffeine in any form is a vasoconstrictor. So it naturally follows that the substance can be a hindrance to our efforts to make gains. I feel like it would, and this concerns me greatly because I am supremely addicted to coffee.
Thus, I want to see if we have any empirical evidence to support the opposite conclusion - that caffeine does not prevent gains. Is there anyone here who has gained well, despite consuming copious amounts of coffee or any other heavily caffeinated beverage?
I have been considering waning myself off the stuff, so maybe the results of this thread will provide either sufficient motivation to go through with it or an excuse to continue abusing my favorite substance.
