What is the best exercise for base girth

I and some others have gained good base girth (along with length) from hanging. Not sure why.

Others have gotten base girth gains from typical girth exercises. Some have reported that they gain the most girth, when clamping, in the area under the clamp (not very intuitive, but I’ve seen it reported), which would suggest that you could even gain some base-G using that method. Pumping seems likely to cause good girth development throughout the whole dick, so that’s another option.

I was thinking that clamping would give good base girth.

Yeah, just make sure you’ve been doing the Newbie routine for a while and have read the big “Clamping 101” type threads before giving it a go, since it can be dangerous.

Read the clamping 101. I mainly want lenght but I have seen base girth and thought that it would be nice to target that area. I have been doing some light clamping. Started with 2 5 minutes session and worked up to 2 10 minutes sessions. I would love to just be able to get base girth with my lenght gains from manual stretching 5 20 second stretches twice a day and the home made extendeder 2 1 hours session. I also have an ADS that a wear once a week all day. I take a break every 2 days

I agree that it would seem counter-intuitive for clamping to improve Base girth. Maybe Behind-The-Balls (BTB) clamping?

The clamp is actually on the base of the penis, compressing the area you wish to expand. The rest of the penis expands due to an engorgement of blood, a state that the now clamped and compressed base cannot achieve due to the Clamp itself. Since it is proposed that the engorged and expanded area is what will grow, then common sense dictates that the clamped area itself, which again cannot achieve this same engorgement, will therefore not grow. Hence, it is counter-intuitive to say that clamping will make the base girth increase.

BTB clamping is where the clamp is placed behind the balls. It is done without padding or wrapping and could be dangerous or painful if not done properly. Personally, I’m a little scared to try it. But the idea is that it is behind the base of the penis and would allow more blood flow and engorgement into the base area.
