Who doesn't want to be cut?

Thanks for your comments above, Firegoat.

For me it has been 22 years since I first became aware of restoration. I assure you and others posting in this thread, had I learned earlier about the concept I definitely would have proceeded to take the same action I did back then.

I carried out my restoration before knowing about any commercially available devices to assist in the process. I purchased many of my supplies at hardware stores, bait shops (for lead weights), and sporting goods outlets. It is rather amazing what one can find around to develop his own devices to accomplish the process of restoration.

Yes, there are times when I prefer to feel the friction between the vaginal wall instead of moving within the sheath of the foreskin tube. There are ways to achieve that.

I was 55 yo at the time I undertook to restore. Of course by that time the surface of my glans had toughened considerably. Much more so than an individual who is only in their teens, twenties, or even their thirties. By the time I began the process I could lightly trace my finger over the surface of my glans and barely feel anything. Now the surface of the glans is always moist and reacts quite favorably to even the slightest touch.

I am trained in the biological sciences and have a background in anatomy and physiology. I understand what is taken when the foreskin is cut. I also know that the procedures performed in many modern hospitals leave a lot to be desired when dealing with the neonatal infant male as far as circumcision is concerned.

I remember in my graduate college years taking a class where we were “privileged” to view a film taken of a circumcision. I will not go into detail, but not a pleasant sight.

Please excuse my if I am approaching a line here. One which might be considered unsavory.

I will end this now by simply saying, to each his own. Let the individual make his own decision in matters such as this.

Juas,

To your original question. I wish I were natural and not cut.

Take care,

4Foreskin ;)

This actually came up in conversation after sex with my girlfriend. She said that she actually LIKES me being cut as she says that being able to feel the point where head becomes shaft is amazing almost like it were ribbed.

I’m unsure whether its atall different with uncut males but I took her word as she has had previous partners who were uncut.

Progressive overload principles,

Goal - 8'' BPEL 6.5'' EG

It should not be allowed on infants. It is common knowledge that the procedure is done far too often. The choice to have it done later in life if it causes problems should be left to the individual and no one else.It can then be done if and when needed.

It can always be reduced if needed but it can never be brought back once it is gone.

My current dimensions: flaccid: 8" x 6.5" erect: 9.5" x 7.125" glans: soft length:1.825" soft diameter 1.65" firm length:2.286" firm diameter:1.90"

Goal: flaccid: 9" x 7" (.1" length .5" girth) erect: 10" x 8" ( .5" length 1" girth) glans: soft length: 2.25" soft diameter: 2" firm length: 2.5" firm diameter: 2.25"

Ultimate goal: flaccid: 10" x 8" erect: 11.5" x 9.75" glans: soft length: 2.5" soft diameter: 2.25" firm length: 4" firm diameter: 3" In other words: A big, fat elephant cock!

Testosterone And Penis Sensitivity

I was circumcised at birth I am now 49 and have been restoring for a couple years now. I have gone from a tight circumcision to loose skin with a lot of glide. I can get forced erect coverage, but I’m nowhere near getting flaccid coverage. The reason I’m restoring is that I think a foreskin is cool and I wish I still had mine. The benefits I have noticed so far is that it feels good to have skin sliding up and down the shaft during sex. My glans has not changed so there is no difference in sensitivity there.

I’m sure that a full foreskin improves penile and glans sensitivity but it’s not like my penis doesn’t feel fantastic as is. Something I think men don’t take into consideration as they age and their penis becomes less sensitive is their testosterone level. They blame loss of sensitivity on circumcision, but there are other factors involved in aging.

I’m my early to mid forties I began having occasional ED and lack of sensitivity caused difficulty reaching orgasm. Eventually my testosterone was found to be low and I have for several years been using testosterone replacement. Now my penis seems as sensitive as it has ever been. Although my glans is probably not as sensitive as that of an uncircumcised man of my age, I don’t think the sensitivity there is any less than it was as a teenage. At least I don’t remember it being any more sensitive back then.

If you are a middle aged man and have low penile sensitivity you might consider getting your testosterone checked.

Too many benefits to list. For those who say they were cut at 19 and haven’t noticed a difference. I’d want to know how long ago the procedure was done. You penis gets more and more keritinized as more and more layers of skin are added to protect against rubbing of your head against boxers/jeans. Since I’ve re-gained much sensitivity, if my penis head is exposed when I walk around, I get instant woodies from the stimulation. I suspect this is one reason why many in highschool get those random boners walking around. Happened to me all the time as at 14-15, I wasn’t as desensitized as I was at 30.

When I’m 100% hard my foreskin is tight and has the appearance of being circumcised. The foreskin is not very mobile when that happens.

Thanks For The Post

As TLCTugger says “- after my wife climaxes once during intercourse her vaginal chemistry seems to change to where there is suddenly more friction. Not a LOT more; just like the difference between lube that’s water-based and lube that’s oil-based. At that time, I often feel my penis move inside my sheath of skin only, with ZERO friction between me and her vaginal walls
That to me, and my girl at the time, was always a problem; I too felt like my penis was moving within my sheath of skin only, with zero friction between me and her vaginal walls. Basically it was just the same as masturbating for me - it had none of the qualities of friction between my penis and her vaginal walls that gave the difference between wanking and having intercourse.

I don’t have any axe to grind here. I’m sure I would have been just as happy if I had never been circumcised. I got circumcised for reasons slightly against my choice - the ‘organization’ I was working within meant I was flicking between the Jewish and Muslim communities and had to integrate with both. And my foreskin was slightly tight (nothing that I couldn’t have stretched out with very little application) but it was strongly suggested to me that for operational reasons I should be circumcised, and I didn’t argue. I’ve never regretted it.

A thread like this can potentially make circumcised guys think they are majorly missing out on something.
For the guys who have strongly commented in favour of foreskin restoration, there is a considerable perceived benefit, and for them it is undoubtedly very real.
Looking at their names here - ‘TLCTugger’, whose ‘raison d’etre’ is foreskin restoration, ‘Becomingwhole’ whose name suggests a focus on restoration, and ‘restored91’ who has invested a lot of time and effort in successfully restoring - the names give an indication of the personal importance restoring has had for them.

I can’t take away from that importance for them. They speak with passion about the benefits of restoration. But speaking from my own perspective, none of them had a foreskin and lost it; they all felt denied something they wished they had from birth. I had one (an original one with all the nerve endings that exist within it) and wasn’t terribly happy about losing it 28 years ago, at the age of 19. It may be something of great importance to them, but to me it is of insignificant importance. Wearing an ‘ultra thin’ condom on my uncircumcised penis, took away many times the sensitivity of being circumcised for me. And feeling the friction between a woman’s vaginal walls and my shaft and glans is so much better - for me and, I’m sure, every woman I’ve been with.

It makes no difference to me where any one stands on this issue. If you want to restore, go ahead and do it. If you feel you have always been denied a foreskin, it will at the very least give you psychological satisfaction, and you will probably find a fair few physical sensations from a slightly more sensitive glans that you didn’t have before. But if it isn’t a major hang-up for you, my honest, genuine opinion would be don’t bother; my orgasms are as intense now as they ever were, I enjoy oral sex as much as I ever have, and intercourse is better than it was when I was uncircumcised.
If I was magically offered my foreskin back tomorrow, I’d say ‘thanks for the offer, but no thanks’. If it just magically reappeared, I’d shrug my shoulders and say ‘OK, that’s fine’ and I’d keep it - I probably wouldn’t bother to get it removed again. I’d think about getting it removed again, but probably wouldn’t. Having had it both ways, it really is that close to irrelevant to me.

Thanks for posting this. It confirms for me what I have thought that I haven’t lost that much sensitivity because of circumcision. I’m restoring because I think foreskins are cool, but I doubt my penis could be much more sensitive than it is. I was circumcised 49 years ago but my penis is so sensitive that I easily get to the point during intercourse that the slightest movement can easily send me past the point of no return. I don’t know how one could be more sensitive and still be able to have intercourse without immediate orgasm.

I have visited foreskin restoration sites and can say that they are a big pity party with everyone bemoaning the penis sensitivity they have lost. They are a bunch of disgruntled men complaining about all the pleasure that have lost due to their terrible parents and so forth.

It’s good to hear from a formerly uncut guy that not that much has been lost. I think cut guys imagine that sex with a foreskin is a lot better than it is in reality.

What you’ve written is very offensive.

If you can’t relate to what circumcised men have lost, it may be in part because forced childhood circumcision is not one defined thing but rather an array of poorly defined haphazard outcomes. Sometimes there is significant nerve damage. Sometimes the surviving skin is so tight erections are painful.

I’d say tread lightly. If you’re in a bar and you start generalizing about who’s merely disgruntled you might get a sock in the jaw.

Go ahead and be offended if you like. The choice to be offended or not is up to the individual. I however stand by what I have said. I will add that such sites are offensive to me because of all the criticism placed on parents. Parents seem to be the enemy. As a parent I had my sons circumcised. I wish now that I had not. I can guarantee though that no parents have their son circumcised because they hate him and want to destroy his life et.al. Parents have sons circumcised for reasons that they think are beneficial. I get fed up with all the griping about parents from men who are not parents themselves nor ever will be for many of them. Men who have have never been faced with the decision to circumcise their son should not be in judgment of those who have had to make the decision.

At any rate your forum is not one I was referring to since I don’t go there because I haven’t found it to be useful. I haven’t found your device to be of much use either.

I find it necessary to add my 2 cents worth to the recent comments. I mentions some time, several, posts, and in different threads that I was very resentful of having been cut as an infant. I stand by that comment. I definitely feel that something was taken from me. I was raised in a neighborhood where I was the lone circumcised boy. This was in evidence as many of us use to go “skinny dipping” in a local creek in my youth.

By the time I reached my early 50s it was noticed that much of the feeling was lacking from the glans region. As a matter of fact intercourse was a very prolonged activity for me as it was difficult to reach climax due to the decreased sensitivity.

One day I was listening to a talk show hosted by Dr Dean Edel. His topic of discussion was circumcision. He mentioned a book, “The Joy of Uncircumcising!” by Jim Bigelow *. The book at that time was out of print. I borrowed it from the local public library, and copied pertinent pages from it.

I embarked on the journey of restoring my foreskin with the full knowledge that it would not be as the original. This process took just over 2 years. It resulted in a glans which to this day (20 years later) is fully covered when in the flaccid state. The glans is also quite moist as opposed to being dry and scaly. This has resulted in greater sensitivity. After all the glans is an internal structure surrounded by mucusoal tissue.

I also used vitamin E enriched cocoa butter as an aid to greatly reduce the circumcision scar. As a result I have been taken for being uncut. Yes, I am very much aware that foreskin restoration will never replace/regenerate the thousands of nerve endings removed during the process of cutting.

I am able to say that intercourse was greatly enhanced by the restoring process. My glans is fully covered when flaccid and about 50% covered when erect.

Would I do the restoring again, by all means.

* “The Joy of Uncircumsicing” now in print. Available at Amazon

Each of us is entitled to his own opinion concerning circumcision. I would not presume to be judgmental to those who feel differently.
