Motivation

Yo. Has anyone else wondered if chemicals could help you study better? Like what chemicals help with motivation? It could be something as crazy as cocaine or as simple as a vitamin. Just shout out anything you know in this regard.

I want to know cause I would like to be more motivated, productive, and time efficient. I have a feeling that these things are interrealted. So out with it please, you guys know about this. Crackpot theories are welcome. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Anyways, that was a good idea Gprent, I never though of Ritalin before. But if I were to consider it, what setbacks are there for it? Like is it addictive? Does it make you angry or crazy? Can I take it before a test to help me stay up and study?

Wow, there is so much of this stuff to learn about. This strattera drug looks like a new drug for ADHD and maybe a replacement for ritalin. Apparently it works differently than ritalin? I hope there are others out there besides gprent that have knowledge to share for me and anyone else who is interested. It would be good to get different peoples opinions on these questions. Like say has ritalin worked for you or a family member? Was it a perfect solution or was it horrible? Is ritalin a can of worms? Is straterra better? How do these things affect your brain? do they mimic some type of brain chemical. Dudes, I am lost!

All I know is that these psychoative drugs affect chemicals in your brain (neurotransmitters?). Some of these brain chemicals that I have heard of before are serotonin, dopamine, epinephrine, acetylcholine? Are these all the same type of chemical? Dudes, I am lost!

You can buy nootropics on some of the liquid research chemical sites. Don’t know how well they work though.
