To me, the ‘ultimate arginine’ is NO2. It delivers - erections hard enough to explode, long-lasting muscle pumps, smooth skin. It costs like hell, so check out the $1 booklet that GNC carries first. Tex…I have been taking NO2 for a week now and am pleased with it. It seems to work like arginine in the positive effects. I was taking powder arginine and it started upsetting my stomach. I was taking 2-3 teaspoons per day. I had to cut back on the dosage. I hope to get some good results from NO2 but sure would try a cheaper version.

I’ve read that Arginine is best taken on an empty stomach. It’s an amino acid and competes for absorption, so especially avoid protein. For use as a GH secretagogue, I think it’s best used on empty stomach before sleep. For NO release, I don’t think it matters, but generally about 1 hour before desired effect.

Best taken mid morning, mid afternoon and mid evening, guess that means that it’s best taken on an empty stomach.

I’ve been taking L-Arginine now for a week, from 6g/day up to 7.5g/day for the last few days, on an empty stomach. Can’t say I notice much difference. Yet.
Maybe I’ll up the dosage to 10grams pr. day. But, it’s an ACID, so there could be some side effects?

My erections are the same as they’ve been for the last couple of months,
at about 70- 95% of what I concider normal=Rock hard!

I’ll keep on taking L-Arginine, maybe it needs some time to build up in the body before the desired effect can be noticed.

I’ve been having l-arginine powder on a full stomach, and with a protein powder. And about 10g (two teaspoons) at a time. Geez I’m dumb. I didn’t even know it was good for the groin, I use it for bodybuilding.

For what it’s worth…….. for about 6 months now, I have been on the following regemin.

With breakfast or lunch:
B-6 250mg
L-Glutamine 500mg
L-Lycine 500mg
Tribulis Terrestis 250mg

Before bed on an empty stomach:
L-Arginine 1g
L-Ornathine 500mg
GABA 500mg
Glycine 500mg

I have had difficulty over the years with a psorasis type skin condition on my hands which has disappeared. At 52, I now am 175 lbs and 6’2” have a 16% body fat content, low cholesterol, low triglycerides, great sex drive, and tremendous errections.

All this has been with considerable reading and research. I don’t take that much Arginine, but along with everything else, it seems to be quite sufficient. I plan to live a very long and active life.

Just had a look at that kilosports.com site. Seems that they are selling two arginine products for the same price - arginine base and arginine HCL. Does anybody know the difference between these two? Thanks.

I ordered NO2 base from kilosports.com, I got the confirmation(auto reply),

but I haven’t heard anything since. This was three months ago.

Is it safe to take L-Arginine for extended periods of time? I have been taking it along with Ornithine for over a year and didn’t think much about it, however, I heard something recently about cycling it like a steroid so your natural testosterone doesn’t shut down. Now I am worried that I may have done damage. I have been taking about 3000mg of the arginine and 1500mg of ornithine. What do you guys think? BTW, I have noticed a big increase in ejaculate.

Argninine isn’t a steroid. It should be perfectly safe to take every day.
