Hi TP, I’m new here. Recently I had a little injury that I would like to address. I can’t post in injuries sub for some reason on my phone, but if anyone could answer this or transfer my thread there would be great.

Anyways I masturbated with some toilet paper AROUND my dick.. I ripped some toilet paper and put it around my dick.. Really stupid I know and the toilet paper wasn’t very soft either and the friction was not comfortable.. I did not do this because it felt better but because I felt safer doing it at the given time.it’s a long story but I have extremely bad paranoid OCD and decided not to use my hand because I thought it had chemicals on it..

Anyways, after I ejaculated, things seemed normal. But then I kept stroking, this time with my HAND though not with the toilet paper around my dick, and then all of a sudden I felt this weird tingly sensation in my penis, and the vein kind of popped out on the right-side of my shaft. It felt really weird.. And ever since that day my sensitivity in my penis has been reduced about 25-50%.. My orgasms are normal but I can’t really feel my erection as hard and can’t really get much pleasure from it now :/.. I am going to stop masturbating for a while even though I’ve broke this rule but will it be okay? Other than that everything is normal.. Just the sensitivity isn’t fully there. I would say that in the best case, you gave yourself friction burn, in which case use some ointment to treat that (I haven’t done research on it, perse, but I think aloe vera based creams will help - but read up for yourself).

Like you said, taking a break from everything dick related is the first step, take some rest. If the issue persists, or gets worse please go and see a doctor ASAP.

My EQ is like 80-90% but I am not sure if that’s because of my sadness about the whole ordeal. I don’t see any visible signs except the vein that popped out during/after the weird tingle that kept stroking. I did notice when I got a boner for the next few days my vein was popping more than usual for some reason. Like the right side of the shaft. It seems to have gone down though now.. I never felt that weird tingly sensation before.. I dunno what happened I was using my hand too but I think the friction right before with the toilet paper must of done something.

I do hope it’s just a burn.. Although it doesn’t feel like one. It doesn’t hurt to touch, it just feels numb.. Sometimes almost cold. I do hope it recovers and it isn’t serious :/

I think the main thing with any injury, is that you still have good circulation, which it sounds like you have. You say that you have 80% to 90% EQ, well that is a good start, and shows there is no major injury. The vein has also disappeared, another positive.

Your mind is a powerful thing, and could easily account for the 10% to 20% loss in EQ. You can’t expect 100% EQ, when you think your penis is going to fall off, can you?

I don’t see how you could have done anything major by just masturbating. I thing the best thing to do is try and keep your hand off it for a couple of weeks.

But if you are really concerned, just go and see your family doctor for reassurance.

This is an update to original post last year!! Things were getting better but now it’s back to shit.

Embarrassed to post this, but this is something that has been affecting my everyday life.. It is depressing being 23 years old and not being confident in your sexual ability. I rarely get morning wood anymore, and if I do it is very very weak. My erections are weaker, libido less, and sensitivity is way lower than normal. I started noticing having this issue like a year and a half ago after masturbating really bad.. And ever since then erections have been hard to maintain.

The only time I noticed a significant improvement, to what I think was when it was not damaged at all, was 2 weeks ago. Orgasms, libido, and quality were back up to normal. But then I went squatting at the gym and did squats with very bad form imo.. With the bar and weights on each side. But the next day my ED was back to where it was.

Yeah.. Its shitty tho not knowing when it will go back to normal :( It’s not even “hard flaccid” but the flacid is like an inch or two smaller, feels less sensitive, and erections are shitty. Especially at the base of the penis
