I Think I Overtrained

Now, let me start by stating that I have being trying PE start and stop for several years. I first big attempt ended in something akin to what I might be experiencing now. I did today a very basic technique, 100 Jelqs under a hot shower, with a fair deal of time under hot water to rest. In the other attempts of restarting previous to this, I had done only 50-to-70 one day before stopping flat. With no loss of function several hours after. Now is different. Having Jelqed at about lunch, and it being near 12 hours later, I feel a very slight tingling and soreness. And an inability to have an erection. I am also a tad depressed for other reasons this day, but I don’t think that is necessarily the cause.

I’m a bit panicky because the first time I had an accident, several years back, I rendered myself impotent for about a week (Though in hindsight, I don’t know if it was physical as much as panic-based) and thought I’d given myself nerve damage. Only gradually regaining function. That incident made me swear off PE for well over two years, only recently have I returned to it. I fear as though I bungled it again. Given the mildness of my exercise, I can’t think I’ve done any terrible, long-lasting damage. But nonetheless, I have a degree of concern. Any way to have the little guy heal faster? And should I go to the safer hanging methods I was trying before, instead of the manual methods I was trying?

First of all people say I am doing X amount of Jelqs(strokes or timing) and that s it.
The total vol of jelqing or total strokes is one thing yes… but what about the INTENSITY of the OK GRIP? What about the duration of the stroke?
When a person starts jelqing the OK GRIP intensity should be so light that it should just grab the skin and a LITTLE bit of the meet underneeth the skin and the total vol should not exceed the 10 mins.
Finishing your jelqing session as a newbie should result in a refreshed feeling of the dick and not a beaten up feeling like you experiencing.

Now take some rest days until all your Pis are perfect and then restart properly.

You have to learn how to start slowly. What would happen if you decided to get your stomach in shape and did 100 sit ups the first day? Well, you know what would happen. You wouldn’t be able to get out of bed for several days.

Take it easy with both force and reps when you start again and add to both SLOWLY over many days and weeks.


The primary goal of PE should be to make your penis as healthy as possible in both form and function. If you do that, increased size will follow.

I’ve had a similar experience. Started too heavy even though I thought I was following all the advice. Had great results in first three weeks. Then I started getting loss of night wood. When it regained it was spotty and took months of rest to come back to consistent. Five months later, I tried to start PE again with about 30 jelqs. Felt sorta meh, and the next day my night woods vanished. Thinking I need a few more months off yet. Does it really sound right that I might need to take up to a year off? Wish I had known JUST how lightly my first jelqs were supposed to be. A bit discouraged to even try back, but I loved the dick I had even in those first three successful weeks, even though I was unknowingly going beyond my limits.

Im having difficulties to get hard since last fridays routine, i was with my gf on last sunday and my penis was good at fellation, but then, i put the condom on…and…penis “died“ i had weak erections until..wednesday-Thursday, i had a more decent erection yesterday but im still thinking im not at my 100%. I think I applied too much preasure…so right now im resting of all sexual activity and exercises…you can still working on Kegels…try some aerobic training as well to get better blood flow while you get better.

This is accurated…if you leave, you have to come back with less intensity…if you were a pro runner in your old days and then you stopped…you won’t want to run 10km that first day after you come back.

Given the mild nature of your exercise, I am sure you won’t have done any lasting damage. I imagine it is a matter of holding off any activities for a while and letting things return to baseline.

You healed before so I am sure it will be the case this time! Keep us updated on how you are doing
