Diagnosed with Peyronie's Not Sure, Need Opinions

I understand your frustration.
I think you should focus on getting it into the best health possible and do no PE for now at all.

The way you describe how you got your injurys makes no sense if there is no underlying problem. Probably prone to inflammation. There are people who are constantly inflammed cause of food problems like gluten etc. or stress…

I cant see how one can get a serious injury in the tendons from 45 seconds at 1 hg, or masturbating, which then leads to severe ED for weeks. If there is no specific moment where you feel a pain due to force then you probably didnt cut or heavily injured something.
Must be an overreaction of inflammation. Take antinflammatorys.

Do you exercise your body and how does it react to that ?

We also have, mostly younger people, who cant take the subjective soreness of it and panic tense up and worry thus resulting in ED.
But once again 1 minute of 1 hg pumping is very unusual to create any reaction at all…

Pelvic floor ends at the base of the penis with IC and BC muscles.
If its tense it can create inflammation which exaberates with pulling or overusing the pelvic floor. So is it tense or is it not tense?

When you have an erection your penis is subject to way higher force than 1hg. Lack of EQ is not a symptom that can be linked with a specific injury.

I doubt you can have much of a increased size or more frequent erections pumping at 1 hg for 30 seconds. So my advice is to speak with a doctor and let you convince that you have nothing. Your EQ will improve near instantly.

Hoglover, thank you for your kind words.

Dickerschwanz, Yes, of course I need my whole body to be healthy, along with my penis, and for my penis. Trust me, I’m not touching a pump (or anything else) for a long time, until I get some answers. Heck, I’m cautious just about touching my penis with my hand, at the moment.

Definitely, there was a existing problem that created my injury. I did have injuries years ago, but, they usually healed up pretty fast. I spent a number of years not doing any PE, because I felt I was so prone to getting injured. I thought that since my erections were weaker than I wanted (probably because of ill health/meds), a pump would help strengthen the blood flow, oxygen flow, etc, like it has for so many.

My body, generally, acts terrible to exercise, I’m prone to injury there as well.

If I understand you correctly, no, I don’t think that the pelvic floor muscles have anything to do with my current ED. For the most part, I feel that I have been very calm about the reoccurring injury, being that it was much more painful the first time, I’m hopeful for a full recovery. I felt like it (my penis) was almost recovered a number of times now, only for my penis to get stressed out again and my weak erections weaken even more. Also, I notice while lying in bed, where before the injury, relaxation plus erotic thoughts would easily give me an erection, I get a very weak erection now, at best. The last time I got an erection (a few days ago), I felt very stress free, even hopeful, however I could tell that it was too much for my penis, a stronger soreness came and I sensed that my penis needed more rest.

Also, I realize that my body may have not recovered from last years injury, and is a lot more susceptible to injury now. Although, the initial injury would not have/has not happened to the vast majority of people, either.

Thanks for your input, dickerschwanz.

Marinera, although it may not be overt to why this is happening, or make sense to you, it is very real to me. I wish you were right, that it was all in my head, but why are the injuries, directly correlated to me using a penis pump? Why would I, at feeling my best (EQ wise and mentally), start to get signals of pain and weakening erections?

While I don’t know how much force erections produce on their own, I think you are comparing apples to oranges here, my body is speaking to me, I’m listening to it.

You’re right, the slight increase in size I felt was probably not from the duration or pressure, I believe it was from the extra blood flow, as minimal as it may have been. Keep in mind that even my erections before the injuries were not at full capacity, were they should be if I was in better health. If my erection increase was from my mind and nothing else, wouldn’t that be contradictory to then my mind immediately turning around and giving me loss of EQ, soreness, etc.

Which injury? What have you broken or damaged? You know they can see about everything inside the penis, so if there is anything broken they can see.

>> If my erection increase was from my mind and nothing else, wouldn’t that be contradictory to then my mind immediately turning around and giving me loss of EQ, soreness, etc.<<
I never said ‘nothing else’, I said EQ incresase was not coming from the pump. There wouldn’t be contradiction anyway, because that’s how the mind often workd: now you are enthusiasts and you are imaigining positive things, next minute you are scared and imagining bad things.

A spontaneous erect penis and a vacuum induced erect penis aren’t that different as you seem to believe (basing on what, by the way?).

Tests about what? What kind of health issues do you have?

It’s an assumption (that I have an injury) based on my symptoms, not a formal diagnosis from a doctor. I call them injuries in that last year I used a pump, got strong symptoms (pain and erection loss), after a few months rest, my symptoms were gone (I assume healed).

The only PE related test I got was a basic ultrasound on my shaft, to look for scar tissue for the possibility of Peyronie’s, which the urologist first diagnosed me with. The test was taken months after the “assumed” injury and my symptoms were long gone, by that time.

Why do I get the negative symptoms when I try to use the pump, and not the countless times throughout my life where I get erection, even sometimes with more aggressive masturbating/edging?

This was in response to dickerschwanz’s post (#25) where he mentioned the possibility of deficiencies, and was asking about my overall health. My blood and urine tests always come back fine, basic and some specific physical examinations as well.

In short, my health issues are psychological, medications used for treatment wreaked havoc on my body (mental and physical), I’m off all them, except one (currently working on it). Now that I think about it, my mind plays crazy tricks on my body (from the med sides and withdrawals), which I suppose could validate what you are saying about the mind effects on my body. I will consider this.

Something that is not often considered : our penis (and balls too!) gots many traumas through the day; when we sleep and move in the bed, our penis is sometimes twisted, compressed, squeezed and what not; even more dangerous if you think that we have nocturnal erections that are stronger than the awake erections.

So, our genitals are pretty often damaged at some level; and if we could have a deep sensorial perception, we would feel pain all the time. Instead we don’t feel pain because we are not thinking that there could be something damaged there.

Dr. J,
as said there are underlying issues as such exercises shouldnt give you these problems especially when there is no definite moment where you can feel you broke something. Mental or physical is influencing each other and mental reacts to body problems which tne might aggrevate the body problem..
I believe you that what you feel is troubling.

You might check for side effects that are about skin, blood and bruising.
Some of the meds do mess with the chemical composition within our body for example weakening cell walls or connective tissue. The body mind connection is then troubled overreacting to small stuff.
Meds also very often mess with EQ.
waning off meds also takes time to get he body back to adjusting.

I recommend you to do some body mind exercises to get both in tune.
You can also start a thread on the forums. Many of us are health practitioners or did go through maybe similar stuff physical and mental.

For now you should check for antinflammatory supplements/food/cremes. There is much that can be done for example for connective tissue health.

Why do you use a pump?

Marinera, I think I know what you are saying, but just to be clear. Are our genitalia damaged more so than the rest of our body? Damaged to what degree?

Dickerschwanz, Yes, makes sense.

I’m open to any links or specific recommendations, if you don’t mind. Thanks for the info.

Better EQ and a healthier penis, first and foremost. As a bonus, added size would greatly welcomed.

Obviously the exact opposite is happening. I would stop, but of course , it’s a mere suggestion, you’re the boss.

I mentioned earlier in the thread that I only did 5 days of pumping then stopped when the symptoms arose (about a month ago), I have no plans on starting with the pump again anytime soon. I’m working on getting off the medication, and improving the overall health of my body, for now.

Let’s just say this: is not unheard of people who gets penis fracture while sleeping or through sexual intercourse or even doing sport, but I never heard of any member reporting a penile fracture due the misuse of a pump (say 15+ hg).

MSM + Vitamin C for connective tissue health. Has also anti inflammatory skills.
Really great combo.

Vitamin D = SUN / light . Most important. Can also be supplemented.

Topical Magnesium. Also known as (rather expensive) magnesium oil. MgCl2 can be bought in bulk and will create magnesium oil mixed with water.
Bath in it and or apply to the skin where you dont feel good. It really makes a difference first time!
Epsom Salt baths are good too. The skin can absorb minerals.

If you cycle epsom baths with magnesium baths (also as foot bath only as alternative) every other day or twice a week you will feel good.

“The 5g’s” can help you with erections and green tea, ginger, garlic have also antinflammatory properties:
Gingko biloba
Green tea capsules(also drinking it if you like it)
Ginger caps (or raw)
Oderized garlic pills (or raw)
Genseng
- Start with the smallest dose recommended on the package.

For cremes camomile and/or arnica can help to specific places.

___________
You cant do much wrong with these supplements. They are all extensivly researched and proven to work.
I think they all would help you.

I’ve had something similar develop over the past month. After doing a lot of research and reading about your symptoms I’ll add a few things.

I think the injury was caused by a pre-existing health condition of inflammation which just makes you susceptible. You want to look at overall health.

The supplements you want to be taking are:

Vitamin E in a balanced form of tocopherols and tocotrienols. 400iu daily
Curcumin with black pepper 500mg daily
Acteyl L Carnitine 500mg daily
Lecithin 300mg daily.
Coenyme Q10 100mg daily
Vitamin C. 500mg 2-3x daily
Magnesium 200mg 2x daily
Followed with a multivitamin that has a good balance of vitamins and minerals.

As far as any traction device, it’s been shown not to make things worse if done within reason. As far as pumping goes I can’t say.

I think my own injury is developing into peyronies possibly. It’s looks like an ‘S’ curve that has developed near the base and causing a tugging feeling and some pain on one side. In fact, it looks a little freaky like I broke it in two places. The degree of the angles aren’t extreme but it certainly is interfering with the overall stability right now. There is a visible indented ‘kink’ on one side and the other side bulges out slightly.

Let me know what has happened in your situation as I plan to keep updating about my own. I think mine was caused by some over zealous tugging without heat followed by sleeping on an erection for too long in one position and putting tremendous pressure on the already weakened tissue. Just bad luck at that point. However an existing health problem of inflammation always can add a bit to it.
