UnidentifiedPSL Progress Report

Here’s an update as I haven’t been posting lately..
I’ve been following the Newbie Routine religiously every day. Last week I felt a decrease in my EQ and so I decided to take a few days off (2 regular resting days during the weekend + 2 extra days off).. Yesterday I got back on the routine and also decided to reduce the stretching time back to 5 minutes (previously increased it to 10 minutes).
I don’t know if it matters but I noticed this loss in EQ after masturbating once last week. I haven’t done it since then so I’m kind of confused why my EQ is still not at its best.

Anyways, here follows my current routine:
5 minutes warm up (hot water)
5 minutes stretching (up, down, right, left and straight out 30 seconds each)
10 minutes jelqing
5 minutes warm down

I have also acquired an heating pad but I feel like it doesn’t get hot enough for the warm up - or at least it doesn’t get anywhere close as to when I warm up with hot water (I generally go for as hot as I can stand for 5 minutes).

I’d recommend you get a UV heat lamp from a local hardware store for your warm up, That’s what I’ve been using and I find it does a better job than a rice sock or a warm wash cloth.

Also, congratulations on the .2” gain. That’s awesome! Keep it up through December and you should have an easy 1/4”+ for New Years. I’m doing the same routine as you at the moment (approaching the end of month 2.). I’ll probably be looking to add something into the mix around the end of month 3.

I have never thought about using an UV heat lamp even tho I’ve seen a few people commenting that they use them as well. It makes me wonder tho, aren’t they potentially harmful to your balls?

As for the training, I think I’ll stick to the newbie routine until I stop seeing any gains at all. Meaning that I’m probably only adding something to it once I have absolutely none or close to no gains in 30 days.. It’s what I’ve seen many vets recommend so I figured I’d listen to them.

Yes, they are! As with all radiation, you definitely want to limit exposure all over your body. As I understand it, there is no reason to heat your balls for the purpose of n.p.e. To protect my balls, I’ve been putting my entire sack inside a tube sock. I simply stretch the elastic part and drop my balls in one at a time.. Once I release the elastic part of the sock, it tightens enough to prevent it from falling off. I then roll up the toe section of the sock and tuck it into the elastic part to provide an extra layer of protection. After finishing the IR session of 5 minutes, I simply remove the sock. Although my dick is always warm, my balls remain cool-to-touch.

As an extra precaution, I’m going to start wrapping my balls in a square sheet of aluminum foil. All electromagnetically conductive materials block IR radiation. The stronger the conductivity, the better it blocks.

Yeah, I’m trying to do the same myself. I’m still trying to read all I can on various methods like pumping and hanging.. Hanging seems pretty consistent with gains but scares the hell out of me.. I mean I get scared just manually stretching my dick. Lol. Although pumping doesn’t scare me at low pressure, I don’t know how “permanent” the gains are.

I think I’ll keep it safe and keep using hot water for now.. I don’t feel comfortable enough to expose my package like that just yet as I’m pretty inexperienced.
But out of curiosity, as my may change my mind soon, do you do your PE exercises under the IR light as well or you really just use it to warm up?
If you were to compare the IR lamp to warming up with hot water what would you say that makes the first one superior to the latter?

I think I’ll probably skip hanging.. It kind of scares me too much as well.. I was thinking about getting a hanging device to use it for stretching instead of having to grip my shaft with my hands as it starts hurting the hands after a while (not sure if anyone ever thought of this?).
I’ll probably go down the pumping route, Titleist is pretty much the living proof that it works haha I believe that just like any other method if you are consistent and make sure to cement your gains when you decide to stop the gains will be permanent as well.

Also, as usual the weekend were my days off so yesterday I already got back into the Newbie Routine.
After reducing my routine from 10 minutes of stretching back to 5 mins after I figured I was probably over training things seemed to get back to normal. I now increased the stretching session to 7.5 mins and so far so good.

Here’s my current routine:
- 5 minutes hot water warm up
- 7.5 minutes stretching (30 secs each, left, right, down, up, straight out)
- 10 mins jelqing (equivalent to 200 jelqs)
- 5 minutes hot water warm down

I don’t do any exercising under IR/NIR at the moment due to the length of my routine being too long relative to the recommended exposure to IR/NIR. I’m only using it for the warm up and warm down. Which is about 10 minutes total.

Most sources I’ve come across suggest no more than 10-15 minutes of exposure. It seems there is s hormetic relationship with positive biological stimulation when not used excessively.

I think IR/NIR would be superior due to the the positive stimulation. It seems that cells absorb the light, producing more adenosine triphosphate (energy source). With this energy, many speculate that the cells can respond better to damage and rejuvenate themselves.

Red light therapy: Benefits and side effects

Anecdotally, I’ve tested it on small wounds and they appear to heal much quicker than without red light exposure.

I’m still sticking to the Newbie Routine as follows:

I noticed you guys were talking about IR lamps and UV lamps. A UV lamp would be harmful because it emits short high energy wavelengths that can penetrate cells and alter DNA. UV exposure should avoided as much as possible. An IR lamp is on the opposite end of the visible spectrum and shouldn’t pose any radiation risk since the waves don’t have enough energy to physically penetrate human cells. The only danger from IR would be from letting it get too hot.

Good catch! I meant to say “IR heat lamp”. I’m using the one shown in the video that I linked.
