Will give it another go when I am healed back up.

I will research new wrapping methods as well.

Sorry to hear about your continued difficulties. Are you using a large sized extender or a standard sized? I never could put everything through with standard, but as soon as I got the larger base I could doing one part at a time.

Be well and good luck!

Thank you! I am confident things will get better soon. Appreciate your time, advice and knowledge.

I am currently using what I believe is a standard size extender. I were not aware that some might be made in different sizes. It is a bit tight with standard wearing, but not so much as to cause discomfort.

Looking for advice from experienced extender users

I am soon healed back up after having dealt with some blisters.

As I am approaching 3000 hours, I have gained about 0.5 inches. Maybe slightly less. Most of these gains came in my first three-four months of consistent extending. I just did another four-five months without much gains, maybe 2-3 mm. Between these periods I had a break lasting months.

I have been using about mostly 8-900 grams of force throughout the latest period.

Mostly I have been extending 6-11 hours per day, with the average being just under 8 hours according to my logs.

I am starting to lose motivation to keep going since it appears I am gaining 2mm for each 4 months.

Therefore I am hoping to find others with similar experiences who managed to turn it around. I have read pretty much every extender tips thread out there, and I have experimented a lot to try to maximize comfort and efficiency in my routine.

I have already received some tips in this thread which I am thankful for: Adding manuals and having my whole unit through the extender base.

I will try these approaches, but I can’t help but feeling that extending like I have done should yield more gains than I am experiencing.

I’ve been searching for similar stories but I find that those experiencing my type of gains with this amount of accumulated hours did so over years at a lower average per day, around 2-5 hours.

I want to try for another 3-4 months with some adjustments to see if I can get some more gains.

My instinct tells me I should try to increase tension as I inadvertently used higher tension in the beginning due to the product showing wrong tension levels at the markings. This is also when I had most of my gains. However, it might just be a coincidence since most people gain more in the beginning.

Experienced extender users, do you any tips on how I should move forward?

1) Tension levels, what should they be after 3000 hours? After a few weeks off, should I start low again?
2) How to avoid blisters / wrapping technique in a vacuum type extender? I am careful that air is not trapped in the device.
3) How to maximize comfort at higher tension levels, assuming I already have found my optimal combination of latex parts (sluice/diaphragm)?
4) Any other tips?

3000 hours and 9 BPFSL

I started back up with extending about one month ago when my blisters were fully healed. So far no more blisters.

I just hit 3000 hours. The ruler shows a BPFSL of 9 inches, which gives me a great motivational boost.

I have yet not added manual PE, but I am considering it. Will reassess in December based on next months results.

I am extending about 8 hours per day using around 1100 grams. Seems to be working!

Extenders, weights, manuals. Each are different methods of putting linear tension into the cock. Manuals are great for when you don’t have the other devices. If you have the other devices they are superior in that the force is measurable and consistent. Plus your hands are available to do other things.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on this. This makes much sense and I agree with your assessment.

I am thinking that I should not change anything as long as I am achieving results. Also, I enjoy the relative freedom of extending!

Adding pumping to my routine

I am adding some light pumping to my routine after reading about some positive experiences of combined extending and pumping from other users.

Hopefully this will help my gains.

It’s really good for length.

Thank you, bobikar!

I am giving the extender a few more months. If I am not getting closer to my goals then I will consider hanging and other methods.

I’ve started a light pumping routine to complement my extending efforts.

My current routine looks like this:

Extending 6-12 hours every day, averaging about 8 hours. Tension is between 1000 and 1100 grams.
Pumping 5 sets of 5 minutes every other day

I am using the lowest pressure needed to achieve expansion. Attempting to follow the advice in this thread: Vacuum Pumping when you have ED; the short version, according to Avocet8

I have decided not to focus too much on gains with the pumping for the time being. Rather, I will try to focus on EQ and refreshing my unit after a long day of extending.

Closing in on 1 inch gain

I have found it hard to measure my BPEL due to my downward curve and variable EQ. I would characterize my typical EQ as an 7.5 out of 10, where 10 would be diamond EQ. It has been like this for as long as I can remember, and long before I started PE.

For this reason I have mostly been tracking my progress using BPFSL.

Last week I decided to measure my BPEL and managed to hit 8.7”. This is higher than I have ever measured before, and puts my gains at about .7”.

Great motivation to continue!

For clarification I do not measure along the curve or straighten my unit when I meaure BPEL. Reason being that I did not do so in my initial measurements.

I will not measure BPEL again until 2021. Maybe I will manage to hit 9” by then, and be half way to my ultimate goal of 10”. One can only dream!

I am also on a (slight) weight loss and strength training journey. Hoping to improve my overall health and well-being. Although it is not my primary focus I do hope that this will improve my EQ as well.

Maybe some exercise in combination with the gentle pumping routine I have started will do wonders.

If you are reading this and have had problems with EQ I’d love to hear about your experience in improving it.

What I have tried without noticable improvement, or negative changes:

- Linear newbie routine
- Kegels, and reverse kegels
- Extending
- Various supplements and herbs which are typically recommended, such as l-arginine
