Newbie Routine need some advice about EQ

Hi Guys,

I did PE on and off for a while last year and notice that my EQ got a lot better - but I stopped just out of consistency.

I’m now about a month in to the newbie routine - but haven’t really noticed to many gains so am going to take a break.

My question is, ever since I split with my long term girlfriend who a week later was already with another guy (about 2 weeks ago) my EQ is just non existent and I don’t really feel motivated considering I have a lot on my mind - is this something that could effect this?

I’m not sure if its in relation to me starting PE again that means my EQ is going down because it didn’t affect it before.

I am currently on hold with PE/Masturbating until April and hope that will help.

Any homies got some advice - should I “reset” or continue?

Stress will wreak havoc on your libido and EQ. Being on a hiatus until April is probably a good decision on your part. You will be able to re-evaluate then with a clearer head as you will have had some much needed to time to deal with your new situation of being single after a long term relationship.

My advice for you in the meantime. Go out. Enjoy life. Hang out with your friends and don’t stress about your ex. If she’s already with someone new this soon after the breakup, then you’ve probably dodged a bullet in the long run. Better for you to get on with your life now than 2 years from now.

Take however long you deem it necessary to let the stress levels go down, and when the EQ comes back then start again. Also, a month is a little too early to be expecting gains; you might notice slight positives but don’t expect it. I think it takes 2 months worth of (key word) consistent work to notice anything.

Thanks for the advice - I didn’t think it’ would be related to overtraining since I’m following the newbie routine to the core. Well I’ve stopped all forms of porn, masturbating and PE for now - I’m hoping this will help, and yeah you are right in regards to it being better we broke up now then later with more years under the belt but it still is such a bitch to get off the mind - I’ve deleted Everything and cut all contact with my EX so the only battle at the moment is with my mind.

In a lighter note - after the newbie routine I sometimes turtle, I have a really light eBay weight - would it be worth after warming down to wear this to prevent turtling although it wasn’t mentioned in the newbie routine?
