After lurking and reading for many a month, I have finally decided to put a proper routine into action. I have tried various routines on and off during the past few years but lacked consistency (and time) to get things going.

I have followed the progress log from 5.5squared and as a fellow engineer, I found his approach particularly appealing. I have never been fond of the manual approaches where you are led purely by ‘feel’ and with no actual knowledge of the actual forces exerted.

In any case, I am keeping quite an extensive spreadsheet to track my progress and will post excerpts here on the key stats.

Starting BPFSL 14.2cm
Starting BPEL 14cm
MSEG 12.5cm

Primary focus for the short-medium term is on length but will also look to add some more girth routines along the way.

Long term goals, which I believe should be attainable.
BPEL 18cm
MSEG 15.5cm

How are you heating while hanging? Infrared lamp?

I am using a vacuum hanger. I find it more comfortable as well as being much quicker to get set up.

At the moment, I am using heating pad that gets up to about 40C or so. I am considering upgrading this to a better pad/wrap or even a lamp.

The convenience of the vac hanger and pad appeals to me as I can get everything set up and ready to go in a couple of minutes. Then I can simply continue to work from my standing desk in my home office for the next hour.

I also have a pump to do some girth work but not quite sure how to fit this in with my current routine as my main focus at the moment is on length.

Early signs are positive.
BPFSL was definitely longer before today’s session than it was yesterday. Whether it is the 0.6cm quoted below I am not 100% certain as there is clearly still some margin of error in my measuring technique. Over time I hope that this will become considerably more consistent.

Unfortunately, I had too many meetings scheduled in work today so had to do a slightly shorter set. I’m pretty sure that no one would notice that I am hanging during a zoom call but I would feel self conscious!
Once again, I saw approx 1cm difference between pre and post BPFSL.

My BPEL has always been quite close to my BPFSL - maybe max 0.5cm difference - so it will be interesting to see how this evolves!

the strain is really big. I think thats a good sign. Your BPFSL will be the first to grow, so for a while there will be a difference
between BPFSL and BPEL. It is an index for your gains.

I was a bit concerned about the high strain but I think that much of this is just things loosening up. I wouldn’t expect to keep such a strain longer term.

Another topic I plan to track is erection angle. Currently, I am quite high ~30 degrees and am curious to see if this changes due to my hanging routine.

Not too sure how to accurately and consistently measure this so will have to have a good think…

Thanks for the info AndyJ. I’m in my mid thirties and haven’t noticed any change since I was a teen. Certainly something for me to keep an eye on in the coming years.

Are you only hanging once a day?

Yes, my current plan is for one hour total hang time per day. I intend to see how I progress over the coming month or two. I will then do an assessment based on BPFSL growth and general PIs to decide whether to stick or to increase hanging frequency.

I suggest leaving the pump out of things - just do your hanging routine for a while. No rush.
