Thanks Willis99, I came to a similar conclusion. I won’t be adding it to my routine for now. As pumping is quite enjoyable I will likely do a little bit here and there.

Four day business trip interrupting my routine this week. A bit difficult to take weights for hanging through airport security! I have my ADS so may just try to wear that a bit so that I feel that I am at least doing something.

A much closer range now that I think that I have a more repeatable approach to measurement. In any case, a >1cm gain in BPFSL after just a few sessions blows my mind.

In my rush to get started today I completely forgot to do a measurement beforehand so will keep my pre from last time
Pre BPFSL 15.cm
Cold hang 10min 500g
Heated hang 45min 600g
Cool down hang 10min 750g
Post BPFSL 15.7cm

Would be curious to get input from others on the ratios I use for time and weight. For instance, would I be better hanging for longer whilst heated? My assumption was that once above 41C and max extension with a particular weight is reached then there would be limited benefit in keeping it there for additional time.

On you question about time under heat. 45 minutes should be more than sufficient to maximize the stretch for the day. An argument could be made for just 30 minutes, but I personally stay around 45 minutes for heat.

I’m still going with the routine and tracking it in my spreadsheet. It’s taken a bit of time to figure out the best technique for measuring and also which mass I need to use. I found that after gaining 1cm of BPFSL in the first week, things slowed considerably. Now, I am looking at approx 2-3mm difference between pre and post measurements in a session and this is much more sustainable!

I will probably switch to weekly updates on here as time is quite tight at the moment.

Progress has very much stalled over the past few weeks.
Even though I have not been posting on here as regularly I am still keeping a comprehensive spreadsheet.

I believe this lack of progress is probably down to the quality of the heat pad so got a better one on order. The current one claims to get up to 48C but I’m skeptical.

Just debating whether to take a decon break until January as I will have limited time over the Christmas period in any case to commit to a decent routine.

Ok new heat pad came today and is significantly better.
Also, I revisited all of the content by Kyrpa as well as the calculator he produced.
I have revised my approach based on this.
Cold
500g +150g every 2 mins
Add heat after 10 mins
1300-1950g over 50 mins
2100g cool down for 10 mins

Pre-BPFSL 15.5
Post-BPFSL 16-16.1
Strain ~3.5%

I’m please that this revision has kickstarted growth again after stalling for the past 2-3 weeks.
In any case, I will be taking a few weeks off over Christmas. At least that will give me some time to find a better way of attaching all the weights to my vac hanger! Any tips on this are certainly welcome.

Nice final session for the year using same routine as last time.

Cold - 500-1150g over 10 mins
Heat - 1300-1950g over 50 mins
Cool down - 2100g for 10 mins

Pre-BPFSL 15.7
Post-BPFSL 16.3
Strain 3.8%

As I need to take the next 3 weeks off, I will consider this the end of my first cycle.
I intend to do an additional post on gains made later this week but there have certainly been a lot of lessons learned.
In no particular order:
1) Read, re-read, and question all of the content you consume on here so that you fully understand it. I realised that I misinterpreted many things when getting started, though thankfully caused myself no damage.

2) Measuring is important. Precision is more important than accuracy here as having a measurement technique that is repeatable matters. Accuracy can be easily thrown off by 5mm simply by squeezing the glans slightly.

3) That said, pay more attention to the general trend as opposed to individual measurements. Growth is generally quite slow so it is sometimes good to take a step back and take a macro view. The feeling when you start to consistently measure in a new centimetre range is fantastic!

4) Use Heat - more importantly a quality heat source. Not all heat sources are equal. I started off using a cheap and cheerful heat pad as it stated that it gets up to 45C. However, this was not not enough to penetrate deep enough into the tissue - and would likely never be without getting so hot as to damage skin. I ordered a far infrared pad which was about 2-3 times the price but this provides a much deeper heat without burning skin!

5) PE actually works! I have to admit that while optimistic that I would see gains akin to some others on here, until I did it myself and saw results I was never going to be a believer. Once again, I have to thank those forum members on here who have been developing this scientific style of approach over the past few years. It may be my personal preference but if you cannot measure the strain you are creating then you cannot monitor and adapt your approach in quite such an effective manner.

6) I am thoroughly looking forward to starting my next cycle in early January and see where 2022 takes me!

It is difficult to get Thermedic pads in the UK so I use one that is very similar made by a company called Graphene Times. They sell via Amazon in the UK and are relatively cheap so thought I would give it a try.

I live in Sweden and ordered my Thermedics from Amazon. I guess that it will work in UK as well? But I guess you have a great pad now anyway.
