Bathmate only

Week 2:
Day 1:
Effect: Night raging boner. Most red spots healed, no additional observation.
Effort: Day off
Day 2:
Effect: Good rest day with all spots healed , color back to normal.
Effort: 2x 5 min (2 dots force) and 1x5 (barley tree dots)
Day 3:
Effect: Lots of small red dots, but no other issues. Little lower flaccid hang.
Effort: 2x5 min (2 dots force ) and 1x 5 min (last 10 seconds 3 dots)
Day 4:
Effect: Small dots, little lower flaccid hang
Effort: 2x5 min (2 dots) 1x5 min (3 dots)
Day 5:
Effect: No additional flaccid hang or minimal. All day observed small flaccid and accumulated dots.
Effort: Day off - concern of lot of size
Day 6:
Effect: Smaller flaccid then usual. Starting to freak out about lost of size.
Effort: Day off. Tried to measure length to check if I’m doing opposite that I want to see. Did not have good EQ to measure. Starting to fell that BM/Pump was not good idea.

Day 7:
Effect still tried couple of times measure, as soon I taked ruler lost EQ. But I was able to measure BPEL at the end of day. Looked similar or slightly less then. Got  little mental relief.
Effort:
2x5 min (2 dots) 1x5 min (3 dots).

Conclusions:
Maybe I’m doing to much. Feels like all benefits from the first days are gone. Maybe 2 dots is to small vacuum. To better learn and observe each setting, avoiding cumulative stress on tissue I have decided to switch to alternative days. It should be faster learning curve. For the measurement, maybe I have increased girth and perceived FL/EL looks now smaller. It is definitely doing something with EQ , and girth feels thicker but at the same time EL looked worse. Like just change shape and the same volume.

Routine update:
Rest days: alternative days ( 1 day on 1 off)

Frekout measurement BPEL: 0.0 cm

Today I have finally time and all parts to make the vacuum testing device for BM. First I need to bend the plexiglass (acrylic?) to the angle of the comfort pad of BM. This was the hardest part and took me a long time. I work first time with this material, and tried to bend it. Actually this was the second matter that I tried to bend (first was my D). It took a long time to heat the 8 mm plexi to 150 degrees Celsius. Then I tried to bend, and repeat. I have cut from cardboard the angle I needed to achieve. After checking with comfort pad I made it actually bend little to much and needed to reverse the bend slightly. After final formation of the plexiglass I made a test with BM and check if vacuum can be achieved. It worked well!

So now it was only to make a hole for the vacuum gauge and not to break the plexi. I took the renaming flat plexi to train drilling holes in this material. The bending took me above one hour so I don’t want to risk breaking the bend one. After some tries with my drills the step-down drill seems to work the best. I have drilled with step-down drill on low speed all way up to 12 mm. The gauge had 1/4 inch fit but it was American standard, so I decided to meld it to the acrylic.

So I heat up the 12mm hole and heat up the gauge and then tried to screw it to the plexi, but it stooped 1/3 way. So now I heat up the gauge on the plexi and another turn. Finally I was able to screw it all the way up! So after cleaning all the mess I tried the plexi with the gauge and it did not work. There was a leak in the plexi hole with gauge. So I took the epoxy glue and tried to seal it. Not it looks worse but maybe It will actual work well. It does not have to look pretty, it must work.

Today is my routine day so probably I will not test it, and do the vacuum test tomorrow.

I have tried the vacuum device with the BM today to check if seal is good. Well there is good news and there is bad news. Good news is the seal is good and it does not leak. The bad news is that I cannot compress it with the only hands. I was thinking about this when making this "device" that it would be hard to grab this to compress but did not think about the force needed to compress it to the max. When I try with only hands with the "OK ring around the gauge" my hands start to shake and wrist to hurt. So I’m losing the seal when applying uneven force around 10 cm x 10 cm bent surface. I will try to do this when in shower between the legs or between the arm pit, if it does not work I will need to make some additional improvements to the design. I was able to compress it only to the 2 dots, and it shows 4 inHg. But when I use it I actually have the dot little higher (or lower on pic), so I assume I was using the around 5 inHg in my first 5 min set, and that is the also comfortable vacuum. So recommended 5 inHg is actually the real thing for the newbie.

So for now:

1 visible dot = 3 inHg

2 visible dots = 4-5 inHg

So with some tries and errors here are actual results:
1 Dot - 3 inHg
2 Dots - 4 inHg
3 Dots - 5 inHg
4 Dots - 6.5 inHg
Above 4 - 7.5 inHg (what I call it max)

This was achieved with one push with hands to the max with BM full of water. (This worked the best when testing). Some people say on internet that Hydromax can go to 0.45 bars (13.46 inHg). I doubt that (look how much compressed it already is). My gauge is wrong, or the new Bathmate have less vacuum than the older if this is true. Maybe the Hyrdomax 9 have bigger compression and can generate more vacuum (I saw the correlation between how much water is in the tube and the vacuum - no bubbles gives the best results). So this are the numbers, and interesting results but you don’t need any numbers. You need just reference (dots, or whatever) to have the same vacuum on each session, and observe what is to much and what to little to your unit.

Week 3:
Day 1:
Effect: Morning wood, lots of small red dots. Little lower hang in the morning.
Effort: Day off
Day 2:
Effect: Whole day lower hang, good EQ
Effort: 2 full dots, 3 dots barley, 3 full dots. Added some Vaseline on glans.
Day 3:
Effect: At 2 dots longer in tube? 3 dots smaller, after pull big edema. Little more discolor all day.
Effort: Day off
Day 4:
Effect: Slight discolor on morning, EQ normal. Discolor completely healed before night.
Effort: 2 dots x5, 2x 3 full dots, last 10 s full, put some Vaseline, 10 quick jelqs between sets, better fit with no bubbles, and using Vaseline from now on.
Day 5:
Effect: relative 0.5 cm longer in the tube in every setting. Rest as always.
Effort: Day off
Day 6:
Effect: smaller edema still some discolor healing all day.
Effort: 5 min 2 dots, 2x5 min 3 dots, last 10 s full.
Day 7:
Effect: Same as on day 5.
Effort: Day off

Conclusions:
Lube helps getting longer in tube. Looking at the comfort pad diameter and color of shaft I can see that not all parts get the same vacuum. I think I actually pack the
Tube but the smaller one. Comfort pad which is around 2 inch. So at the base I don’t see discolor or any red dots like in the rest of length. So maybe this helps BM focus more on length also ? Who knows.
1 day on 1 day off works better for me. I will stick to the 1x 2 dots, 2x 3 dots and 10s max for the next week.

Routine update:
Adding 10 jelqs between sets
Adding Vaseline

This is great information 👍I can’t believe the manufacturer couldn’t give us this information. I have over years, worked all the way up to 20 hg in my dry pump. 7.5 is kinda tough for majority of unconditioned users. Be careful…..

Thanks! I’m glad that I can contribute somehow to this wonderful forum. Most of the time I’m lurking.

BM Hydromax manual states that:
". User can not exceed safe partial vaccum levels allowed under EU and USA medical regulations"

I’m from EU and my pump is from this year. What are the safe levels allowed by EU or USA ? What partial word of this statement means ? Does USA and EU have different levels and the product is adjusted to the market ? Don’t know.

20 inHg is extreme but tells me that you can in fact condition well. Do you not face anymore skin discolor in the 10 inHg range ? How long it took you to condition to 10 ? I’m feeling that my skin is mainly limiting me to higher vacuum. But actually might take your advice and back off a little. This 7.5 inHg might caused abnormal discolor so I will probably reduce the max to 4 dots already.

Very good information. If you think the indicator is wrong, try another of better quality. Thank you very much for this information.

RD it took me a time fluctuating back and forth. I always went in hard pumped till it was almost too painful. Stayed there till it was. Usually 10 to 30 seconds. Lowered the pressure in short bursts. Then did it over again. Dropped down to 4 or 5 hg in the beginning and stayed there for 30 minutes or more. Always checking color. At first without heat I would get cold and there was more discoloration and less expansion. You can read my progress in my Before an Morning after thread.

After reading some data on the internet, and some injuries from BM I decided to test again. So I was wrong. This time I changed the grip, started with fresh hands and not afraid to break testing device I was able to achieve new vacuum level. This was done with both hands, one holding top and other pushing on the device surface. I was able to push with one burst to 7,5 inHg, then some rest and another push (two spoons of water came out), rest and again around 8, and two more . About spoon of water and we have new record. 9 inHg is max for this technique for me. I’m pretty strong (I think above average - can bench more than 100 kg) so I’m thinking. If BM is able to reach 10 inHg, is this even possible for average user ? The best test will be use both hands with some support around abs. Because what difference does it make when I will compress it for e.g. With the legs if that is not possible when you use it normal way. Also noticed tha vacuum in BM is not linear. Visually you cannot tell the difference above 7, 8 or 9 it looks the same. This is so why is dangerous. One weak person will tell it uses to the max, and he will have no injuries or some minor one and the other stronger will get serious injury.

Thanks bomber28 !

BigFinisher good to know. I saw your thread briefly . It is pretty long one but looks good so It will take me some time to read.

Thanks for all your time and info!! I’ve been using BM for just over 3 weeks. I usually go 2 days on and 1 day off. I can max the BM out and so far have never hurt myself. No red spots or anything. I do two 10 minute sessions. Do any of you guys that use the BM enter the tube with an erection, or semi erection. I go in about half erect and find that works best for me. Just curious to what other guys are doing.

Nice! Maybe you should start a log? My initial plan was go full erect but now I use more semi. When I go erect I have even more spots. Now I’m testing how quick to pump because I think this gives me most of the spots. How quick you pump? I started counting in my head to use just one pump per 5-10 seconds to achieve wanted vacuum.

Week 4:
Day 1:
Effect:  Morning still had some discolor but healed at the end of day.
Effort: 5 min sets, 1x 2 dots, 2x 3 dots (but that last one was more like 3.5 - not easy to adjust with this model) and last 10s max
Day 2:
Effect: +1 BPEL cm in tube only under max vacuum with some edema,  edema quickly subsided (massaged), felling of burning while sleeping on the tip, new morning discolor level.
Effort: Day off
Day 3:
Effect: No data
Effort: 5 min sets, 1x 2 dots, 1x 3 dots , 1x 4 dots, last 10-15 s above 4 dots, full erect, 10 jelqs between sets
Day 4:
Effect: No red dots just full red color 😉
Effort: Day off
Day 5:
Effect: color heals
Effort: 5 min sets, 1x 2 dots, 1x 3 dots , 1x 3.5 dots, last 10-15 s 4 dots , 10 jelqs between sets
Day 6:
Effect: like usual some dots, fluffy like usual
Effort: Day off
Day 7:
Effect: everything back to normal
Effort: 5 min sets, 1x 2 dots, 1x 3 dots , 1x 3.5 dots, last 10-15 s 4 dots, 10 jelqs between sets

Conclusions:
Still can’t figure out from what in my routine actually spots came from. Sometimes I have higher vacuum and less spots. Starting to count how quick I achieve vacuum. Once I saw after warmup set (2 dots) that spots already appeared.

WK4 complete so now I will have  2 days off and some measurement.

Hi Probert1!

I when using the BM a hydromax7 generally went in with a semi-erection doing three 5 minute sessions with a minute rest between sessions. I never experienced any red spots only when I went to full pressure the donut effect would form. Now I rarely use it because I make more use of a vacuum pump.

Cheers
