What sensations are right for the start?

Hey guys, I just bought today my first pump and did first session, 3x times 5 minute each.

Pump itself is fairly easy and simple one. But core question - what sensations shall I try to achieve?
I perform PE without pump for almost 3 years now, so kinda used to stretching and jelqing sensations.
The size of pump is not much greater than my penis, 16 cm of girth vs my 13.1 cm and 22 cm of length vs my 18.6 cm. If it matters…

So. today I created quite strong pressure and felt sometimes small pain in penis - is it ok?
Like shall I feel all time some kind of stretchy-itchy sensation and add pressure only when it ends?
Or is it better to remain in some comfort, non-itchy, state?

My primary aim here is penis growth, not getting ready for sex


1st) Before knowing PE ----------------- 14.0 cm length (5.51 inch), 11 cm girth (4.33 inch)

2nd) PE-like exercises for 3 months -- 16.0 cm length (6.30 inch), 12 cm girth (4.72 inch)

You’re not going for sensations, you’re going for a specific vacuum level for a specific amount of time. Order a cheap brake bleeder kit WITH A GAUGE. If you are air pumping without a gauge, you are on a path to injuring your penis.

Sensation is pretty subjective and can change from heat exposure, the kind of lube used, and pump time (edema reduces sensation in my experience). It wouldn’t be a good guide post to build a pumping routine around, though if you feel pain you should probably reduce the vacuum pressure or stop.

I’ve had good results from light pumping at 5 inHg for 20 minutes every other day.

Well, it is pity, but my pump without a gauge.So, my routine shall be like - 3x sets for 5 min and during EACH set the vacuum level must remain constant? Or it must be equal between all 3 sets?

Also, saw some discussions in other topics and the question arose - is it better to pump erect, flaccid or hanging penis?

Watched some videos like guys do pumping lying in the bed and I feel that basic gravity doesn’t work good for them here
