Vacuum Pumping 101

Thanks avocet for clarifying that. Does your program recommend that we do pumping everyday initially?

Week 1: One 10 minute session per day
Week 2: One 15 minute session per day
Week 3: Two 10 minute sessions per day
Week 4: Two 15 minute sessions per day
Week 5: One 20 minutes session, one 10 min session, per day
Week 6: Two 20 minute sessions per day
Week 7: Three 20 minute sessions per day *

* After a few months I settled on three 10 minute sessions per day and no pumping on weekends. Now I do only 5 - 8 minute sessions with more squeezes and jelking between them. I saw no difference in size gain as a result of long sessions.

Initially I pumped 6 days on, 1 day off. Later I pumped 5 days on, 2 days off. This worked for me. You will need to decide what is comfortable for you.

With this information, what would be more effective? What do you think?

-Break at 5 minute intervals, exit and massage 2 minutes, return to vac level.

-Reduce vac to 1” every 5 minutes, hold for 30 seconds, return to level.

My routine is currently 5 days on 2 days off

MORNING
I start with 4-5 mins massage then I do 1*15mins pumping session then a 5 mins break. I use this 5 mins to dip my dick in bearable hot water and then again 1*10 mins session. Then I head straight to take a hot shower.

AFTERNOON
20 mins edging
200 medium to strong strength jelqs

EVENING
1 hour of size genetics after a hot shower

I have been doing this for last 4 weeks now and intend to increase the pumping session to 3*20 mins (6 days on 1 day off). I pump upto 8-9hg and then let go down till 5 before increasing it again. I m monitoring my dick very closely and so far I havent noticed any negatives. I do see a fuller dick immediately after the session but that gone by the time I start my jelqing session in the afternoon.

So far the progress has been nothing but frustrating but I’ll stick to it for atleast 12 weeks.

Any pointers about my routine are much appreciated.

So long as you don’t have problems with EQ or bruising, etc., maybe keep doing what you’re doing for awhile. We’re all different. Some guys just need more Hg pressure whereas most of us do better for gains at 5 or below.

If you don’t get measurable gains in another two-three months, think about changing the routine.

Pumping before or after jelqing or does it not matter? My current routine is 5 min warm up, jelqing, stretching, 5 min warm up.

Where would be the best place to implement the pumping? Also, should I go into the pump fully/almost fully erect or flaccid?

It probably doesn’t matter which you do first, pumping or jelqing so long as you do a warm up first.

The best place to do it is where you have sufficient privacy and are relaxed.

Doesn’t matter if you go in erect or flaccid. Erect seems best if that’s easy for you; flaccid is fine if you have ED or are having an off day. If flaccid, don’t try to pump up quickly. Let the erection build as it would if you were being stimulated by sex.

I’m told these eletronic pulsing vacuum pumps do produce a stimulation which would maintain an erection.

In a manual pumping scenario it doesn’t matter if I go in soft or hard, it will not be hard when I come out of the tube. However a true erection after I leave the tube is larger.

I haven’t pumped for years.

When I first started I had a pump which would not allow you to use too much pressure, so there were good results.

Then I gradually got away from pumping. When I started again I got results in flaccid size, which is what I wanted, but in sex when I came to an orgasm there was almost no pleasurable sensation. Now I realize this happened because I was using too much pressure. It’s possible I even had nerve damage. But that would gradually go away if I didn’t pump.

Then later I began pumping with less pressure and got good results. That is, I reached my goal of 7 inches erect. At the time I thought this was permanent. I was using Victoria Wizell’s hypnosis program. (Her name has changed since she married. Sorry. Don’t know the new name, but I am sure you can find her using the internet.) But gradually the size came back down to 6 3/8.

So I am wanting to do some pumping again. Actually it took a few YEARS to come back down to 6 3/8 from 7 1/8 fully erect. I was earlier 5.75 but used Jelq to grow to 6 3/8. Now I would like to get to 8 inches. I am posting here mostly to caution others about using too much pressure. You can really hurt yourself using too much.

And I haven’t seen anything on here about exercise, so I’d like to add my 2 cents. Squats and abs force blood into the lower body, and I think they will cause you to get better erections. Start out with a few and work your way up. I think 100 situps a day causes me to get better erections and feel more pleasure during sex. I think 100 to 200 squats a day gives me better erections.

And the Kegels improves erections and pleasure during intercourse. A few details all you guys need to know.

For Lampwick, becoming hung like a donkey was the result of a total commitment.

Isn’t the point of pumping to expand the penis beyond its original size in order to make gains? I don’t understand the idea about using low pressure which will put you at an erection level below your 100% erection. How’s this beneficial?

Low pressure vs high pressure

I would like to reply to make myself clearer. By low pressure I don’t mean extremely low. I mean as much pressure as you can take without discomfort. Before when I was pumping, I was using very high pressure and I was in pain. And as I described before, there were definite bad side effects. Just use common sense. I wasn’t using any before. Thinking with that other head.

Don’t know where to post this, but I am pumping now, so here goes, for what it’s worth. I have been a runner off and on since I was 15 years old. Current age 53. I always had occasional problems getting erections when I wanted them. At 42 or so these problems became worse.

A few years ago I got in the best shape of my life, running as an attempt to lose weight. I was running about 4 times a week up to an hour each time. That is, I would run 10 to 15 minutes at a time, take a few minutes rest and start again. At about 40 minutes total time running my ED disappeared. I stopped running when the weather got cold. I didn’t have any trouble getting erections under any circumstances for the next 3 months at least. It’s about the blood flow, I am sure.

Blood flow is bad in most people of my age due to eating too much meat and too little exercise, I believe. So I am currently eating less meat. Less than 1 pound per week. Average American consumption is over 4 pounds per week. And I am jumping rope for exercise. Good for burning fat. And also doing squats to get blood supply to the lower body. And I am seeing improvement in erections. But of course I am also pumping currently.

Since my ED began to get worse at age 42, I have tried a lot of things, and exercise has worked better than anything else. Specifically the running. I thought this needed to be mentioned as I haven’t seen it addressed anywhere else on the site.

I m back to pumping in the range of 3hg - 6hg. For couple of weeks did sets between range 5hg - 8hg. Saw my EQ going down. So took 3 days off and now pumping between 3-6 range.

I see that the pump effect is almost the same, it just takes a little more time without the side effect of decreased EQ.

Just thought of updating everyone

Btw can anyone comment of which one is better in terms of gains -

1. 3 sets of 20 mins or
2. 4 sets of 15 mins
