I have browsed and read through some threads. I still have a few questions.

What is “milking the tube?”

What are your erection levels when pumping?
And how close to PBEL are you?

How long does it take to get used to 5hg? It feels very intense for me even at 2.5hg for my first two 5 minute sets. 3rd set I can get up to 5hg for maybe 30 seconds without “loss of feeling” for lack of better words.

Lastly has anyone used super low pressure for routine warm down? Meaning 1hg or so with heating pad around the tube for the warm down. Just curious ^

Goals are erection qualities/nighttime wood and penile health.

I have ED so I never reach PONR. Milking is when you move the cylinder up and down your shaft which simulates master action. It took me only a few days to feel comfortable at 5 hg. I have pulse pumped - alternating several minutes at 5 hg and 30 seconds at 2 hg, but never used low vacuum level to warm down, though sounds like a good idea.

Thanks for the reply. I’m glad to hear from people who have been pumping for a few years. I have been vacuum pumping 2 and half weeks very consistently. Used the bath mate for a few months previously. But damn, 5 hg is intense I cannot do it for my first set 5 min set. Thanks again for answering some questions.

It’s possible your vacuum gauge is not accurate.

Hahah that made me laugh. Yeah what if I was pumping really high. That’s a funny thought. It’s a leluv vacuum pump. I got it off amazon. I heard about it on here. But I’m usuing consistent reference points on the gauge and what “feels right” that day.

Classical milking is used as a break in the set so that you dont have to exit the cylinder to reestablish blood flow.
To milk the tube the vacuum is lowered so that cylinder just stay attached (about 1 inhg). Then start milking it. My milk motion lasts about 2-3 s.

I start at 70-80% EQ when entering the tube and then pump up to a full erection.
I try to stay as hard as possible for the whole session.

When I started it took me about 8-10 weeks to get used to 5 inhg.
But your goal shouldnt be to reach 5 inhg. This isnt a “magic number” for gains.
You should try to aim for as much expansion as you could create without fluid build up and negative effects (long recovery rate, hard flaccid, loss of EQ, bruising etc).
Be happy if you only need 2,5 inHg.
Btw I use less than 5 inHg most of the time if I do “classic” pumping.

Thank you for answering each question. I don’t see myself getting to 5hg for a while. I have tried it but what feels the best is 2.5 and maybe the 100 mm mark when I’m a bit stronger on a given session. I’ll play around sometimes and pump up to 5hg and hold for 10 seconds and release pressure and repeat. It feels correct some days. Meaning beneficial. I’ll search titliest’s thread for pumping .

Use the vacuum level that’s good for you. As I’ve always said, you need to listen to “your” dick. We can only give recommendations. Everyone is different. I suggest going slow and use less vacuum than you think you need.

Many get injuries from going too far. Then they are sidelined. If you stay healthy, you get to continue your progress.

Yes, this^ is the common theme here that resonates the most with me. Listen to your dick and your body. A man in the squat rack can squat 450, but that doesn’t mean my body type and body proportions Are able move those loads. Or even get the same squat development from what he does.

Sometimes I may come off like I’m doing a lot of pe and not resting. but that couldn’t be further than what I do.
I found very quickly that I’m not going to be able to pump at 5hg. In time I probably can get there for 5 minutes if my body has adjusted to 3hg and 4hg and I need to move up because Over time I have adapted. But it’s a slow climb. I’m not trying to get my body to adapt to the end goal because…. then where would I go from there? I don’t want an end goal though. I’d like to keep a slow progression and do less and get more. Feeling healthy and strong. Not beat down.

Sometimes I just like to ask questions and discuss what’s on my mind. I seriously appreciate the answers and the recommendations you guys. Now that I know what milking is I’ll do it. Funny thing is I have done that a few times already.
