The Best Way to Measure Gains for Me

So I started back PE in March of this year and I have been struggling with the best way to measure my length gains.

I feel like if I do a Bone Pressed measurement and I am even just a little off to the right or left it can affect the measurement by as much as .25 of an inch. I also feel like some days for some reason I measure longer than other days even when I think I am putting the ruler in the same spot.

I have also noticed (and could just be my imagination) That the tendon or connective tissue or whatever you call it above my penis (where you would put the end of the ruler for a BPEL measurement) Seems to have gotten thicker or tougher, possibly from hanging BTC. I feel like this would also affect the BPEL measurement if that were the case.

So one day back at the beginning of August, I was pumping and decided to hook up to my 1.75 cylinder and just see how far I could pump my flaccid up into the tube. I then thought it would be good to mark the tube at 10hg and take a picture.

Well after a month of some serious PE work with hanging and pumping it looks like I have gained .25 in the tube in about one month of work.

My BPEL seems to have gone up but still have fluctuations with it depending on EQ and other things.

I think by measuring this way it will show any gains regardless of EQ or any placement factors with using a ruler. So I think from now on I will be measuring monthly gains this way. I think over longer periods of time say every ninety days or so I will document a BPEL length.

I know there is an acronym for measuring in the tube but I just don’t know what it is. To bad there isn’t a place on the official measurements under our profiles for in the tube measurements.

Maybe that is something that could be added.

How are you getting into a 1.75” cylinder with 5.75” base girth? I guess your method is good for tracking gains, but I don’t think it will give you an accurate BPEL #.

I go in completely flaccid. It might seem like the same as a Bone pressed flaccid stretch measurement and it is pretty close to that but again that is subject to ruler placement and other factors that I feel like are not present in a tube under vacuum completely relaxed.

I have done the same.

I marked my tube with a Sharpie when I first got it, and then went over the mark with clear tape.
My original mark is almost 2 years old, and still holding it’s own.
I recently added a pad to my tube, so the original mark is now a little off, but the tube has coincided with my other measurements.

I have gained all I want to for erect length (from traction), and I am happy with my erect girth(possibly from jelqing), but I didn’t get much flaccid gain, so all I am going for now is increased flaccid, and flaccid is the hardest for me to measure accurately. It seems to vary up to an inch throughout the day, regardless of how I try to measure it. I may make a flaccid mark on my tube just for fun, and see what happens with it.

Pumping is supposed to be slower gains, but good for more flaccid. I have noticed better wood, and there seems to be some flaccid gain, but like I say, I can’t come up with a measurement I would feel was accurate.

Whatever works for you, only thing that matters is you measure the same way every time.

It is not that big a deal for me to be consistent with the ruler. I just make sure the edge of the ruler is at the center of my penis from top down view.

Also just a side note. I wrap the tube with a heating pad to get as relaxed as possible and when I feel I am close to my maximum stretch I do some kegels and I am able to eek out a little more length putting me at my max length in the tube. I always mark and measure at 10hg. This seems to be a good pressure to stop at anything higher has diminishing returns or starts with over deformation or lengthening of the glands.

repeter thanks for the tip about the tape. I noticed my marks were fading I guess just from handling the tube or whatever that should do the trick.
