Splitting Routine Into Two: Better Results?

What’s up guys. Who has split their routine into two halves and noticed much better expansion or just a better routine in general from it?

I have split my routine in a half a few times lately by doing half in the morning and the other half either a few hours later or much later that day and it seems to me that second half of my routine yields great results. Wether that be better expansion and/or better EQ during the routine.

My hypothesis is that considering pumping can be slightly fatiguing for our penis, giving it some time to rest and recoup allows it to come back stronger for those other sets later in the day.

Has anyone had long term effects from this style? Has anyone noticed a negative from splitting their routine in half?

I plan to experiment with this. Also, specifically talking about pumping. I know this has been talked about before with stretching and even other routines.

Please expand on what your regular routine is. I’m assuming you only pump once a day. I have always pumped twice a day and just increased time in tube as I progressed. Initially I was 10min @ -5inHg for twice a day and now I am up to 60 min twice daily (couple years later). I do occasionally come out at 30 min for a massage and more lube. I did not know about heat early on, but now I wrap the tube with a heating pad.


Initial: 7” BPEL; 6” NBPEL; 5.25” - 5.5” MEG

Current: 7-7/8” BPEL; 7-3/8” NBPEL; 8.5” BPFSL; 6.5” MEG; 6”x5” Flaccid.

Goal: Improved/consistent EQ while managing ED. Secondary: maintain current stats.

Well, I just picked up the pump again and even before when I pumped I didn’t for too long. So right now I’m only doing 3 sets at 5 min @ low pressure with jelqs in-between each set.

But a few times this last week I have done two sets at 5 min with jelqs and then another routine later in the day consisting of the same thing for a total amount of 4 sets of 5 min in the pump and it seems to be really effective. More effective then doing it all during just one routine.

This suggests to me that if adding another short session yields better results than your base program, you may be undertraining and are ready to increase your training program. In other words, make your 4 set program your base program. When you are comfortable with the 5 min sessions, try increasing time until you get to 10 min.

Generally my PE carries throughout the day, some morning, some midday, some evening.

I have organically grown to appreciate the expansion that comes with this approach.

It’s all qualitative, I have no hard numbers to validate it. If I feel nice and thick, good and hard come that night’s game time, that’s all the feedback I need.

I say experiment with it and if it feels good and right, go.

I’ve never tried it but I’ve heard it works well for some. It’s the same concept as split sets for hanging. Give it a go and find out for yourself. I have no reason to believe it wouldn’t work at least as well as one session. The amount of work is the same.. but your expanding your penis more frequently. I suppose that some gain better via intensity and some via frequency.

Well I guess I will experiment with it and see how it goes.

Sometimes it can be hard to gauge what is too little, too much or just right for my unit with PE. Becasue iam dealing with pelvic floor issues that can be somewhat sporadic and can throw me for a loop out of no where. Once I have taken care of my pelvic floor and the tightness I have all over my body I will be much better at gushing truly what makes my sick happy when it comes to PE.

I pump 20 to 30 minutes for the first set, rest 10, and then 20 to 30 minutes for the second set. I do it twice a day.

The duration is mostly dependent on available time. One 40 minute set is likely to leave a noticeable donut, at 60 it’s guaranteed. Since I don’t want that, I break the sets in two.

That’s true for me as well. Some days I use less vacuum, lower the time, or both. Every now and then it’s fine with more vacuum. I go with the feedback instead of rigidly sticking to a plan.
