Plastic Mityvac last forever? I had two broke after few minutes. Not kidding.

As usual my friend we are in complete disagreement LOL

Which mityvac did you have ?

Before I found Thickwall, I considered buying a U.S. Cylinder despite the shipping costs and the import tax, hence I have not tried any of them, so I can not compare them, but I assume that Thickwall compares well to those brands mentioned.

Not in my opinion. They are made of 6 mm material, nicely rounded and I have had no irritation or pain from modest pumping between 0 and -5.

I did buy a silicone sleeve just to be on the safe side, and have tried it. The Ø is only 3 cm. Any engorgement not to mention erection makes entry difficult even when both sleeve and penis are well lubricated.

I notice that when using the sleeve the gauge will easily read as much as -8, a pressure that I am never close to without the sleeve. Can any pumping connoisseurs here explain the principles at work for this discrepancy?

Google Bremsenentlüfter Vakuum Pumpe

No need to compare - I have had my Thickwall pump for 5 years and I have not had any problems with it in that time.

The plastic one. I doubt there are several different models
MityVac handle crack/break
Plastic Mityvac pump handle just snapped in half

how many years ago you bought yours? Why you do believe your pump will last ‘forever’?

Haha because i’m an eternal optimist of course, and there are a couple of different plastic ones, i guess i have the better one as it been working great for 18 months and has been dropped several times,

I can only recommend things based on my experience after all.

Help the ignorant please: what is tubing and what coupling? Do they come with the starter kit?

The tubing is just standard clear pvc pipe to connect the pump, on most hand pumps the tubing just presses on .

The coupling is a plastic connector that goes in the other end of the tubing and connects to the cylinder, this allows you to disconnect the tubing from the cylinder without air or water escaping which can be usefull.

I believe the connector that Thickwall use is common to several other pump makers ie vacutech , the starter kits that Thickwall sell have everything you need.

Much appreciated. :)

Has anyone used the Lust Buster Pump? It’s fairly cheap compared to Thickwall pumps and I was wondering if it’s decent. I want to try out pumping but I don’t want to spend a lot of money on it. It can be found on the lovehoney website.

Thanks
