Okay, I read a bunch of the threads here. I’ll use gprent’s advice when choosing my size. I’m about 8” BPEL, so I guess I’ll get a 10” or 11” length pump. I’m around 5.25 girth or so, and I want more, so I assume I should get a 2.00” cylinder, correct?

If I’m right in those assumptions, I’ll be getting the deluxe package from LAPDist. This is a good choice, no?

Now, the huge 101 thread is a bit scary. Can someone give me a guideline for what pressure to start to try at? I’m thinking of a 5-10 minute session initially, so I don’t go overboard. The pressure gauge that comes with the deluxe package, is it in hcg or PSI? And what hcg (or PSI) should I put it to to start?

Also, do you go into the pump fully erect? Or can you? Or is it better to go in a bit softer?

1. Yes, select a 10”X2” cylinder.

2. I think the deluxe package is a good choice. You get everything you need in one shipment and you are ready to go out of the box.

3. Yes, start off at 5-10 minute sessions and 3 to 4”hg pressure. The gauge reads in inches mercury. The very beginning of the 101 thread gives good starting guidelines. The most effective way to pump is to always keep the pressure relatively low and as you gain more experience, add more time to your routine, not more pressure.

4. You can go into the cylinder fully erect or with a partial erection. For me I find going in either fully erect or near erect is the best.

Awesome, very direct on responses. I realized I’m more like 4.95 at the base or so, so should I get the 1.75 cylinder, since I’m not near the higher end of things?

Yes, you would be more comfortable with a 1.75” diameter cylinder.

I read on this forum that pumps do nothing for PE, and are for enjoyment only.. Is this correct or did I read wrong?

grent, you were one of the people who got permanent gains from pumping, right? Were they from only pumping, or did you do some other work along with it, like jelqs and stretches?

You will read a lot of stuff on this forum. The world of PE is full of constant contradictions. Here is your best bet:

Give more credit to long time veteran posters than those who just joined or post infrequently. I’m not saying that a new guy or infrequent poster is going to give inaccurate advice, instead, I am saying that generally the trolls, liars, and the misinformed get weeded out fairly quickly. The formula will help your odds in getting accurate info but it is not foolproof.

Another thing is that far too many people think that if something doesn’t work for them, then it doesn’t work. If you hang around here long enough, you will find that everybody responds differently to each form of PE. One of the only things that seems to be nearly universally agreed upon in here is that patience and consistency will reap you the most reward.

If you read more threads, you will find that many people have gained while pumping. Some may be full of crap and some may be telling the truth. I have not formally (in person) met anybody on these forums, however, after spending much time on this forum, there are guys whom I trust. Gprent is one of them and if he says it’s possible, then it’s possible.

gprent also comes with a hot avatar. You have to trust him.

And the way I see it is, if you push the limits of your dick during PE, you help it to grow and expand. When you pump, you really push those limits. Push it enough and it will get used to it and stay that way. Just seems to make sense.

Of course, I’m sure it’s not that cut and dry.

There are those in the ‘force growth out of your dick’ school, and there are those in the ‘coax growth out of your dick’ school. Just be aware that the harder you push the limits of your dick, the closer you come to doing yourself damage. You’ll note that Gprent recommended that you start off at 5-10 minute sessions and 3 to 4”hg pressure. That’s coaxing, not forcing. There are times that I only pump at 2 inHg.

The harder you push the limits of your dick, the more important it is to be on top of your PIs.


For Lampwick, becoming hung like a donkey was the result of a total commitment.

Im about your size, except im about .2” bigger in bpel. I use a 9” x2” cylinder. You’ll notice that your dick doesn’t get get to its bpel in the cylinder. I’m only 7.5” in the cylinder at max. It never made any sense to me, but thats just the way it works I guess. I don’t think you need a 10” cylinder. And I would go with the 1.75” tube, I wish I did, sometimes some skin likes to suck in also.

Alright, I should be getting mine this Thursday. I’ll start with 5-10 minute sessions on 2-3 HG pressure, and slowly work up to 4-5 HG. I’ll take it slow.

Should I just try this for a few weeks, or throw in some jelqs and/or stretches to help make the gains permanent?

Also, should they be thrown in before or after the pump?

I think jelqs and stretches are beneficial in conjunction with pumping.

You can do them before as part of your warm-up, between sessions, and after. The same cautions apply, especially if you have not been stretching or jelqing - start out with limited force and duration, watch your PIs, and take break days until you see how your body reacts to all this.
