How to prevent red spots

12

well it seems like I cant avoid the red spots but they go away in a few hours or a day. Must just be my skin.

I feel like im ready to go beyond 5 hg and try 7 or 8 as I dont even feel anything at 5 anymore. It used to feel really good when I started.
Whats a safe HG to increase too but not get a ton of edema fluid ?

I’ve noticed that the edema is a mostly a factor of time and pressure. 3.5 hours of 1 inHg has produced a comparable amount of edema to 5 inHg for 1 hour for me in the past. Though there are more factors, those are the main ones I noticed.

If you notice that the tube is filling with liquid that is not precum, that’s because your skin integrity has been broken and your skin is oozing blood plasma. It’s more likely to happen if you are masturbating with the tube for a prolonged period of time. It is probably wise to stop if you notice this, though you will probably have already stopped from edema.

My own experience with vacuum pressures over 7 inHg was that they were not as productive for growth. I’ve noticed a contraction response after pumping with 9 inHg and above. I don’t know that the contraction response is triggered solely by the amount of force exerted, there might be other factors that influence at what point a contraction response is triggered like temperature, the state of organization of the tissue, and if the tissue is already injured.

More observations (sorry, I’m a social scientist by trade and I make data everywhere!):

I took about 5-6g of citrulline and 2g of arginine before a light weight lifting routine at home. Worked out for about 45 minutes just upper body (trying to get back in shape from a lot of sedentary life all spring and the CoVID is keeping me out of the gym). I took a 40 minute break, ate some light food. Then about 15 minutes later I started my usually 13-16 minute warm up with rice wrap and got into my jelqing before pumping. I had absolutely zero spots at all and I pumped in the tube for 55 minutes (5 min warm up set then 5, 10-minute sets with jelqs and jerking off between each set for a few minutes).

It was about 2 hours after I took the citrulline and arginine. However, I still felt like those aminos were in my system and helped with my pump; cock was a nice thick fatty when I was done. I had the tiniest little bubble of edema below my glans that went away quicker than I had time to check on it.

I think I’m going to keep taking my amino stack at least an hour before my warm up to pumping and PE. I will report here with findings! This is something that is not new to me. I recorded every single pump in great detail since July 2018 (I started keeping track of days in May, then amount of total time in tube later in June, then length of time for each set in tube and what I took before pumping and results in July). I have loads of observations and created quite a lot of data from it all in a spreadsheet. After a whole lot of sessions I found that I did not get spots if I made sure to warm up for more than 10 minutes and did no more than a 5-minute light warm up set in the pump. If I pumped longer than 10 minutes for any set at any time in my routine I wound up with edema. But spots were the outlier and randomly I would get heavy spots after much warm up and care to not get them.

Now that I’m working on citrulline and arginine as factors in penile health under pumping stressors, I’m finding new correlations with my routine and how and WHEN I prep for it. Thanks everyone for sharing their thoughts and experience with this, it is making me think and react!!

Starting length, Spring 2003: bpel 6 3/8", bpfsl ~6 1/2", flaccid ~3-4" (never measured flaccid stretched or hanging flaccid; starting girth was probably ~5"-5 1/4")

Summer 2004: bpel 7 7/8", bpfsl 8 1/8", flaccid ~4", erect girth 5.3"

Spring 2018: bpel 7 1/4", bpfsl 7 5/8", erect girth 5 1/8"; Spring 2020: bpel 7 3/4", bpfsl 8", erect girth 5 3/8". Current - August 2023: bpel 7 3/4", bpfsl 8", erect girth mid shaft 5 1/4" (5 1/2" at base)

I really admire people with the stamina to make detailed records of their PE practices and results. There’s a great thread by someone with the name Kyrpa who is investigating ultrasonic interventions for PE. For the most part, I keep track of my experiences by memory and hope it’s good enough to tease out all the relationships.

I get red spots even at much lower pressure, around 2inHG even after 5 minutes of pumping. Could vitamin K potentially help prevent the red spots? Even with very low-intensity jelqing, I get red spots really bad. Currently only take vitamin D and a magnesium supplement, no meds, no blood disorders that I’m aware of. When I pump I use heat, it’s not hot enough to burn or cause discomfort though. Currently taking the week off because of the spots. Another thing I’ve noticed, when I began the week pumping on Monday after two days off, the spots and discoloration are worse. I do 5 on 2 off, when I do my routine on Friday, there are fewer red dots and the discolorization is mostly fading away. Unlike many other members here, I do experience slight discomfort from the red spots, not pain, just tingling, and skin irritation. Over the last 3 months, I’ve slowly worked myself up to 3X20 minute sets, 2inHG(20 minutes), 3inHG(20 minutes), and 4inHG(10 minutes), then 5inHG(10 minutes). My edema is minimal, EQ is great. The only Negative P.I. Is the red spots and discoloration, It almost looks bruised, and it’s mostly gone by the next day.
