How Important Is Heat When Pumping?

How Important Is Heat When Pumping?

I tried two different methods and got slightly different results. I pumped for an hour in my 2” tube while using heat and packed the tube, but I had edema built up. Today I tried pumping with the same duration, vacuum, tube, and this time without heat and found that I had no edema built up to the extent that I had prior.

Does growth come faster when heat is used? It seems that it does help with expansion, but when I get too expanded and my tissues can’t handle it, I have edema build up. I notice without heat within an hour I expand to about the size I would have if I pumped to 40 minutes with heat.

How important is using heat if the goal is to gain size with pumping?

Hi, for me leaving the heat pad on for 1 hour makes the tube too hot and burns my penis, which induces a lot of edema.
If I pump cold I don’t have edema but I also have less gains…

So I found an in-between, I turn on the heat pad until I feel the tube is hot, then I turn it off until I feel the tube is losing too much heat, and I turn it back on etc…
Now I have the gains and no edema.

I also noticed that a splitting the sessions instead of doing 1h straight give me much better gains and less edema, I almost fill the tube now without any edema.
When I do long sessions my gains are completely random, i have random big edema bulges and a lot more trouble chaining the days of PE.

Now I’m doing 20 + 20 + 20 sessions with a bit of jelq in between and everything is going great.

I’ll be honest with you I’ve tried over 100 different routines and this is the only one that gives me a stable effective feeling.
I practiced it before but I didn’t stick to it (because I’m stupid and not serious)
I came back to it and it feels really good.

I’ve recently been having poor EQ after pumping. I’ve begun to wonder if it’s because my heating pad gets too hot. It gets up to “Holy **** I’m burning my dick off!” sometimes. Other times, it’s just pleasantly warm.

When I’m sufficiently motivated I’ll use a thermometer to measure the temperature.

When you let it heat for 1 hour the temperature rises really high levels, I’m not sure if it’s good for the penis.
All I can see is that it’s not for me, and it even gets worse and worse over time.

Hm. Do you have a cooking thermometer? One of those things with a long spike that you stick into the meat to see when it’s done?

You could slide it down between the heating pad and the tube and see how hot it gets, and turn the pad on and off to control it.

Dont worry my penis is very sensitive.
It’s a hell of a thermometer that we have between our legs ^^

Hi,

I never read anyone rolling the FIR heat pad inside the tube (with a 7cm diameter tube fits perfectly)

Why everyone wraps it outside the tube?

Sorry if I’m a bit naive, just started reading about vacuum pumping.

Thank you all bros, great threads, much brotherhood in this forum

You need some lubrication between your penis and the tube or your skin can be painfully stretched. Lubricating the heating pad is more difficult than lubricating the plastic tube, and the pad is harder to clean. Heat transfer from the pad through the tube is on the order of 90%.

You also have to do something about the power cord to the heating pad.

It’s more convenient for most people to put the pad outside. If you put it inside, you might want to experiment with a powder as a lubricant. Some forum members are using talcum or baby powder instead of liquid or gel lubricants.

Thanks, Andy, I appreciate it

I definitely use heat for every session. I have a heating pad with (3) heat levels and I’ve found over the years that level (2) is just right. I too have been down the road of having the heat get unbearable if I switch it to level (3).

As far as edema, I don’t have an adverse opinion of it (like most) and don’t necessarily avoid it. However, I’m super vigilant and ensure I don’t develop blisters or other negative PIs and side effects.

The (1) opinion I do share is heat allows the tissues to relax and expand with less time and vacuum. There’s a bit of a catch 22 by way of heat with less vacuum and time or no heat with more of the aforementioned. I desire efficiency, this heat it is for me.

I’ve used s hairdryer on the tube. Seems to work for me.

I’m trying to reduce edema build up from really long sessions with a heat pad. Seems like you already figured this out!

How long do you break in between the 20 minute sessions? What pressure?

I used to put my dick in a ice cold water to reduce the edema.
