Anyone here have any advice or know-how as to making your own ball tube seal? I’m, tempted to by the one for STJ’s at Pumptoys.com but since I’m in Canada it’d cost me about $50, which is a bit too rich for my (unemployed) blood.
Anything thrown my way would be immensely appreciated.

A jar quite similar to the STJ jar, except much thicker. I had to drill a hole in the bottom of it with a glass/mason bit, but it works wonderfully. I’m thinking or placing foam pipe insulation around the lip edge and then stretching a wheelbarrow inner tube over it.
Will keep posted if it works well…
That could work. Additionally, dipping the lip edge in tool dip could seal a lot of leaks.
