Hanging weights from cylinder while pumping

Hanging weights from cylinder while pumping

Does anybody have any experience with hanging weights from the end of the cylinder while pumping?

I’ve done a search but couldn’t seem to find any info.

Seems to me I saw somewhere a cylinder advertised by some company that had a heavy-duty hook at the end of it for this purpose, but I can’t locate it…

Thanks,

9soon

I wouldn’t attempt it without a pressure gauge. Also, it’s not clear why this would work any better than just pumping at higher pressure, as the “length pull” only goes up by increasing the pressure. Pressure goes up everywhere and in all directions, including girth-wise.

Therefore, there’s no real benefit over just pumping at higher pressure.

Also, pumping and hanging don’t mix. You’re supposed to hang totally flaccid, yet pumping works best when you’re rock hard. I suggest these products be avoided.

Wouldn’t that end up just pulling your base skin, unless you unit was real tight inside the tube?

Hey SixerMan,

Think back to physics class. Pressure and volume are inversely proportional. When you pull on the tube (or hang weights from it), you’re basically increasing the volume of air in the tube as it “tries” to pull further away from your body.

The increased volume means the pressure drops. But since the vacuum pressure in the tube is negative to begin with, the pressure “drop” actually increases the vacuum.

The higher vacuum pulls harder everywhere—at the base, from the sides, at the glans.

How much? Every pound hanged from a 2” diameter tube will increase the vacuum by 1lb/PI square inches, or about 1/3 PSI. This is equivalent to about 2/3 in-Hg. So, hanging a 10 pound weight from your tube will increase the vacuum in the tube by 20/3 or about 7 in-Hg.

I think you’ve figured out that I like math :) . Now, if somebody could please check my work, we could find out whether it likes me back.

<Embarassed smile because he was never in a physics class> :)

Okay, I believe you, but if you pull the tube, with either your hand, or using weights, eventually, with enough pressure I “think” you will break the connection of the tube from your pubic base.

But if you dont tug hard to break the connection, are you stretching your unit any farther?

Not a whole lot, my guess, before the seal breaks.

I don’t see, and correct me if I am short sighted, how weights and pumping can work together without potential damage.

If you were to use a small diameter tube which could grip your dick under vacuum pressure only along the shaft (and not at the base), then you could attach some light weights for hanging purposes. But with any substantial weight added, the seal with the tube would break and negate your hanging process.

If you pump and the seal is concentrated at the base of your dick, then you’re probably only stretching skin by hanging light weights. Again, not that productive.

In both scenarios, you are also putting possible tremendous additional pressure on your glans which could cause discomfort or injury in the worst case.

I don’t recommend it.

ModestoMan,

Your math is correct (round off approximations not with standing) IMO.

The physics relationship you cite is called the “Ideal Gas Law” which works very well over the range of pressures and temperatures we normally experience. The relationship is:

PV=nRT where
P is Pressure
V is Volume
n is the number of molecular equivalent weights of fluid under consideration
R is a universal physics constant
T is absolute Temperature (either degRankine or degKelvin depending upon which system of units you choose, English or Metric)
