Donut necessary ?

I received my pump today but was wondering whether the donut silicone sleeve thing is necessary?

Yes, it is. The sleeve / sealing ring has the following functions:

1. To create a seal between the penis shaft and the cylinder, making sure it is only the penis that is being pump;

2. During pumping, the cylinder will recede into the body because of atmosphere pressure and decrease blood flow into the penis. The ring is there to lessen this effect.

You don’t have to use one of those if you have proper sized tube,shaved genitals and lots of lube to form a seal. But I prefer using one of those “donut silicon sleeve things” when doing some girth workouts with bigger tube,this is for preventing my balls to be sucked in the tube. What ever feels comfortable for you.

Very comfortable and fits in all size tubes. I recommend,you find them in various brands.

Yes that is what I speak of.

It seems to be too tight though or I feel as if it is.

Do these come in different sizes or are they supposed to be super tight?

They are supposed to be tight to create a good seal. Make sure you use lube inside the sleeve to allow yourself to slip in easier if that is a problem for you.

I bought one of these, but find it hard to use with the LP cylinders… Because of the ridge.

I’ve searched for a better donut / sleeve for a year with no luck.

Yeah I am finding that they are all too tight and painful to use.Even with lube they are very constricting.
