Hey everyone,

Haven’t really posted in this forum much, but seeing as I have a pump now, I hope I don’t over bombard it :) . The pump I purchased was the one from Welcome to lapdist.com with the gauge. What I’m hoping to get from this post are some ideas and suggestions on how to help integrate the pump into my routine.

My routine before I had my pump consisted of essentially a quick warmup with a moist hot cloth, then into some stretching, then into my jelqing with kegels, and then I finished with a warm-down with a hot shower. When I first got my pump, I sort of fooled around with it every now and then under extremely low pressures (less than 3" of HG) for low times (1-5 minutes). Now I feel I am a little better able to handle using it for a longer period and so am wanting to integrate it into my routine.

Here is essentially how I am doing it now:

- Same warm-up with cloth
- Same stretching
- Currently I pump to 3" of HG and keep it for 10 minutes (I currently have to watch porn during this part in order to go into cylinder 100% erect)
- Then I do my jelqing and kegeling
- Then I do my same warm-down

My main questions are:

1. Is that the best place to put it in my routine (as far as order goes)?

My thinking was that it would be beneficial to do the jelqing after the "pumped" penis to help promote gains, and that the stretching wouldn’t matter so much whether it were before or after (so I put it on before as I lube up my cylinder and I stretch without lube for a better grip).

2. Where do I go from here with the pumping portion?

Am I to slowly increase the length of time in tube, or increase the pressure? I know that you can’t just increase the pressure "x" amount every "y" days and would have a lot to do with your own penis’ response to the pressure, but am sort of looking for a guideline. In other words, what would someone advise me to do for my routine over say the next 12 weeks (3 months).

Was also wondering if at some point instead of just doing a really long pump session, when does one break it into "x" sets of "y" length, if this is done at all. I am hoping it isn’t for a while because then if I were to jelq after each pump it would add a lot of length to my PE time.

I know I have asked a lot of questions here, and am not expecting to get answers to them all in one response, but I appreciate it greatly if even just one could be answered. Thanks for reading it, and I would also like to say that I am still reading the Pumping 101 thread so sorry in advance if some of these can be answered in that (it is just that it is really long, and I have to sift through a lot of it to find my specific questions). I think you answered your own question when you said that you were looking at the Vacuum Pumping 101 thread. In the very first posting, it mentions this as a progression in routine:

Week 1: One 10 minute session per day
Week 2: One 15 minute session per day
Week 3: Two 10 minute sessions per day
Week 4: Two 15 minute sessions per day
Week 5: One 20 minutes session, one 10 min session, per day
Week 6: Two 20 minute sessions per day
Week 7: Three 20 minute sessions per day *

* After a few months I settled on three 10 minute sessions per day and no pumping on weekends. Now I do only 5 - 8 minute sessions with more squeezes and jelking between them. I saw no difference in size gain as a result of long sessions.

I would use that as an example, not a prescription. Modify it to meet your needs; in the end, it’s up to you and what works for you. Personally, I generally do multiple 15 minute sets, with jelqing before and after each set, and with releasing the pressure to zero at five minute intervals through the 15 minute set.

So, here’s what a set might look like for me:

50 jelqs
Pump to 2 inHg vacuum for five minutes
Release pressure for 30 seconds
Pump to 3 inHg vacuum for five minutes
Release pressure for 30 seconds
Pump to 4 inHg vacuum for five minutes
Release pressure and remove tube
50 jelqs

If you move into a second set, go directly to applying the tube and pumping to vacuum; after all, you’ve just finished 50 jelqs.

I may do back-to-back 15 minute sets, or I may do a 15 minute set early in the day, and another 15 minute set later, and perhaps another 15 minute set before I go to bed. It’s partly a matter of what I have time for and the schedule of my day, and partly on my ‘feel’ for whether I’ve fatigued my penis enough for the day.

In any case, I think that jelqing before and after each pumping set is a good idea. Keep in mind it does not have to be a long jelqing set. I probably do 50 jelqs between sets; less than three minutes a jelqing set.

I’ve mentioned in other posts that I think there may be some benefit to pumping just before you go to bed, with the hope that the usual round of nocturnal erections reinforce healing in a larger state.

Thank you very much for your response Lampwick! Yeah, I did eventually find that guideline on the first post, but it actually too me a long time believe it or not. It was because I read the first 5 pages of that thread about two months ago, and I didn’t recall out of memory seeing it. So when I began reading the thread again a few days ago, I started at page 6.
