Can Pumping Really Help Length?

Conceptually, it just seems like so much more of a girth exercise. I am a newbie who is getting used to jelqing and manual stretches, but after reading I think my next incorporation after a couple months would be pumping rather than hanging.

How’s it “hangin” Pat?… My overall impression of pumping in regards to length gains have been as follows, first you will gain girth especially if you combine with manual exercises(jelqing, stretches, squeezes..uli or horse). second, after you gain enough girth to pack the tube your penis can only expand with the length. This is what I have read in other posts concerning length gains in the tube. Take a look at my thread on cycling pressure up and down…. work those ligs baby!!! This method really concentrates on stretching the ligs to help with length, and I am finding it is great for girth which I am gaining faster(1/8” cemented erect gain in the last month!!). As my ligs became more stretched from this method I have gained about a 1/2” length increase in the tube, but has not cemented any permanent gain in EL as of yet, maybe I’m just a slower length gainer than others in this forum that say they gain length before girth. I may alter my training to 1 day pump/manual exercise and the next day DLD blasters followed with an ADS since I am getting a little impatient waiting for the length to come.

Working for lenght

I was told that a smaller cylinder that doesn’t let you expand girthwise much but is long enough to let you stretch in vaccum would promote growth in the lenght department.

My $.02:

Pumping as a primary exercise isn’t likely to do much for length, but you can use it in conjunction with other techniques if you have the time. If length is your primary goal, focus on manual stretches and/or hanging.

I think it has tremendous merit for length. Don’t believe me? Measure your erect dick length. Put your erect dick in the tube, pump it up, and measure while its still in the tube. It’s a lot longer, isn’t it? If nothing else, your ligs are getting one hell of a stretch. I think it also stretches the cells in the CC and CS in all directions.

I have been using your cycling method and packed the tube girth wise and slowly the length seem to be getting longer and I’m talking slowly but it is happening. I put little marks on the tube and slowly my dick is passing the marks.

I have one question about pumping to anyone. You know thoses rubber things(I know thats a great word)at the end of the tube where your base is do you guys use them? For me I just stick the tube on and start pumping. If I try to use them my dick gets strangald to death.

Thanks for the comments Max, I’m always happy to help a fellow Pe’er the best I can. On that note and in response to what you asked about a seal there’s a lot of guys that use the rubberized seals but if you dont like the way they feel(me either) then go to my thread on making your own pump. In post #18 I describe how to make a flange seal which won’t constrict the base of your “buddy” at all. After that go to the thread that I started on cycling pressure up and down as I have a few questions and I would like to keep as many impressions and comments as possible on the method in that thread so it’s easier for everyone to follow.
