So, I’ve started hanging after three months on the newbie (after a long break) and I don’t seem to be able to grip the “internal structures” properly. I’m using the hanger designed by Tom Hubbard on his page because I had all the stuff lying around and I’ve watched the video on wrapping and looked at all the and various pages describing how to wrap

Once wrapped, the wrap can be pulled up and down my shaft. Its not loose, its pulling skin from what I’ll call the fat pad (I’m 10% body fat so its not really a fat pad).

No matter whether I pull my penis to full stretch and then attach the hanger or push the wrap forward to ‘bunch’ the skin and then attach the hanger - when the weight (8lb) is attached it just pulls more and more skin from the fat pad area. I can feel that my penis is taught inside but I’m concerned that I’m going to deform the skin around the base of my penis or, worse, not get the best and most efficient hang.

Can anyone advise please?

I don’t hang but from what I have read here, your starting weight of 8 lbs seems to be too much. Not saying it’s the issue causing your wrapping difficulties but you may want to start at a lighter weight to avoid any possible injuries.

Sorry, I should add that 8lb is not a starting weight. I’ve built up to it - 1lb a week. The problem is manifesting at this weight, not lower

I don’t know anything about the hanger you’re using, but the Bib is a renowned hanger and even with that piece of equipment, learning to hang and wrap properly is not easy.

For me, I ran into trouble again as I approached 10-12 lbs and really struggled there. What helped me was to add a cloth under the theraband. I think the cloth makes the wrap better, but it also added thickness that I needed.

Your wrap should not be very tight, but if you can move it up and down with easy, it’s too lose.

If you’re not using TheraBand, I would consider buying some of that. I saw some guys on this forum had success using a silicone sleeve for a wrap as well.
