Rest days with hanging? Not recommended?

Reading “Hanging 101” I notice the advice is to avoid rest days all together, but if you have been pushing hard during the week and your dick feels tender, what are you supposed to do? Would a five minute stretch out be okay? It just seems strange because rest days are considered important in every other form of PE.

If your routine doesnt allow you to recover from one day to another, and you keep pressing, at some point that cummulative damage is going to force you to stop so make sure you reduce the volume of damage your dick is absorbing or you will need a full day off at some point, or otherwise will get injured. There are many ways to get injured while hanging, and the inflammatory processes can lead to some of them, because inflammation reduces or disrupts recovery rates. So before you get hurt, reduce drastically for at least 1 day, to a single set, and then try continue.

I don’t get hurt, I just mean you normally have rest days in every form of PE, so why not in hanging? Surely leaving you’re dick to recover for 2-3 days isn’t going to stop the gains?

there are 2 schools of hanging regarding rest days.

Some advocate no rest days to prevent the body to do what it likes to do with stressed ligaments: strengthen and retract.

Others advocate some rest days , 1-2 days a week, as any other form of PE.

I think rest days are fine if you feel it’s needed, If your penis is beat up then no point in pushing through only to beat it up more.

If I feel like a rest and say Sunday I hang in the morning but my penis needs a break then I hang on Monday at night and this in reality gives me a rest day but I’m still getting work in every day.
