Most Effective Weight to Hang; Clarifying Bib's History

Great post Hank. That’s exactly the reason I split this thread in the beginning. Ever since I first started reading Bib-related threads here, everyone has been caught up on him hanging 45 lbs, but didn’t read enough to realize it was only at the very end of his hanging career, and not the weight at which he gained. I believed it too for the longest time until one day I picked through his history thread with a fine-toothed comb and found that post where he states 17-20 lbs as the weight that really did it for him. Fortunately - in hindsight anyways - I was never able to hang more than 20 lbs. I always envisioned working myself up to higher weights because of the belief in Bigger’s method, but everytime I tried to hang more weight, my dick wasn’t having any of it.

I’m glad to hear that during your “hanging holiday” (I like that :) ) you were able to restore from the negative affects that heavy hanging caused. Gains at the same time must have been a very pleasant surprise.

Thanks for the reply Grower, 1.125” at 10-12 pounds is great, and goes to further prove the theory. Congrats! What kind of hanger do you use? Do you get the same head pressure issues at 12 pounds that you get at 17?

I find the penimaster to be more effective than hanging, even though it only uses a max of 3.5 lbs resistance,

I have grown 3/4 an inch in roughly 5 weeks time, vs 1/2 in in 2.5 mos time hanging up to 19 lbs for 3-4 hours a day.

Which did you do first carnivore, the hanging or the penimaster? Also, how much time apart?

The reason I ask is because I suspect the penimaster wasn’t really responsible for your gains, and only facilitated in securing the gains you received from hanging.

I hardly ever hear of anyone gaining that much in such a short amount of time using a penimaster. But on the other hand, I hear it all the time from hangers.

Thanks much, Stevie. You’re one of the sharpest guys here, and I’ve learned that you have a storehouse of historical knowledge about this place. Let it be emphasized that neither you nor I nor anybody else is faulting Bib here, it’s just that some of us had failed to completely assimilate the details of his hanging history and put them to proper use in our current situations. But I’ve learned a lot about my dick and what’s reasonable for me. Thankfully, no real damage was done, even if I did venture a bit too far into the extreme (i.e., 37.5 lbs).

While on my hanging holiday, the very pleasant surprise, as you appropriately called it, came after I had been stretching (variations on the lazy ass, five ways) for about a 4-6 weeks, when I woke up one morning and reached down to squeeze my dick as usual: it had NEVER felt so thick and fat and firm in my life! Plus, I began to see small increments in length as well.

I’ve been a member here a year this month, and I continue to learn about things I thought I already knew, thanks to members like you.

I was thinking about the golf weights idea, but I also sit a lot when I work, so what I was considering was…
I use a wrist wrap for a sort of ADS and it has worked great, but I hang quite a bit out the end,
this amount out the end is not being stretched even though it looks nice.
If I got a second wrist wrap and put it around the shaft and then put some self adhesive wrap behind the glands like they do with golf weights,
it would keep my unit stretched out really nice. Anyone ever do this? Or what do you think?

Also, I’ve been experimenting with stretching the shaft skin by grabbing it at the circ scar and right before the base skin starts and pulling out in both directions. Do you think this could help avoid the base skin creeping up by using more shaft skin? And if there was more shaft skin to give during hanging it wouldn’t put so much strain on the base skin, in theory.

Reason being, we can’t attach any hanger tight enough to avoid excessive (base) skin stretch when hanging lots of weight.

I wasn’t gaining after months of hanging. I tried 4-6 sets a day 7 days a week for a month going up to 13 pounds. After a month no gains. I was depressed. I took a week off. Then did nothing but ads for a week. I gained a 1/4 inch. Another 2 weeks a 1/4 inch. The ads cemented my gains. IMO hanging is almost pointless without ads. I wish I could gain 1/2 inch every two months. In four months I’d be done with length.
