Very nice thread. I need to start working on girth. Plus looking at the thread I need to up my sets even more.

Not quite, used to talk to him quite a lot. He barely gained using a vac hanger, stalled out, switched to the Bib and upped his weight and started gaining again.

Here, he is expressing his frustration at stalling out vac hanging and barely gaining anything. He bought his bib right after and by the time of his progress thread with pics he was up to 23 pounds with the bib and gaining again. Also, he comments about once he got the bib and upped the weight he gained like 1/2” really fast. I believe that’s on the second page of his progress report with pictures. Then he gained another .6” after this using the bib.

Minus the blue sheath I still wrap as I did with the max-Vac with micropore tape shown in my link in my signature. I now add self grip tape over that as well like is recommended in the LG Hanger guide, though I use an even more durable and thicker self grip tape wrap than what comes with it. I think you would just need to feel the pressure you would feel hanging with a vacuum hanger to understand. The tape reduces the glans from expanding too much and acts as a second skin and reinforces your skin. The self grip wrap just furthers that protection. It stops the lymphatic fluid from getting pulled into the spaces between cells that causes fluid build-up.

I got it down to where I don’t get any, read that, any fluid buildup. Not even a donut. So while there may be 15 mmHg of pressure added, that spikes to 16 or 17 mmHg in the hanger when weight is added, your glans and shaft isn’t experiencing that pressure so you can’t compare it to extreme pumping at 10 mmHg which would definitely cause the donut effect from fluid buildup.

It’s actually maximizing the variables you spoke of. Though I don’t always achieve it because I’m still climbing weights steadily; my goal is to reach fatigue within 20 to 30 min into the set like you would with a Bib forcing you to drop weight. If I do hit fatigue I can either stop the set or drop weight and continue; all the while keeping the hanger on. Experience, what you are feeling and common sense would come into play to help you make that decision. If I don’t I hit fatigue I can add weight or continue the set and add time. Next set I can add weight. Recommendations are to not exceed 45 to 60 min during a set.

And again this was 5 or 6 years ago. Taping of the glans and shaft wasn’t widely known about and practiced. I started the thread on how I wrapped to get the word out. I have no doubt I can get to 23 lbs with this device if I need to. It’s well designed, the sheath is thick and strong, I can add vacuum and my taping is even better today than back then

Longerstretch I personally love the idea of more comfortable hanging. I just am not thrilled about the weight limit. I have yet to hear of anyone above 25 pounds with the vacuum hangers and when people talk about hardcore hanging they are all using a compression style hanger. I have yet to read of anyone doing hardcore hanging with a vacuum hanger.

It would be great if I could reach my goals at 25 pounds or less but it is a $300 gamble that I am not willing to take. Not just the money but the fact that I would have to spend the time building up my skin conditioning to a Bib hanger in order to get above 25 pounds. To me it is time wasted and potentially money wasted if I get limited use out of an expensive hanger.

I am not joking when I say I would pay twice as much for a Bib that was more comfortable. However, a great deal is my own fault because I hang sporadically and my skin pays for that.

I am not trying to knock any type of vacuum hanger. It is more about what our goals are and what discomfort and risk reward we are willing to deal with. I want to get beyond 9 inches NBPEL. Due to my initial starting size and the fact I have already gotten to 17.5 pounds I highly doubt I will get it done under 25 pounds. For some people who are either closer to their goals or perhaps their goals are not as extreme I think a vacuum hanger might be perfect for them. The comfort and the extra time per set might be what many people need to push on through.

Oh I know what you are saying. I’m not feeling attacked or trying to attack, just advocate what can be done and how vacuum hangers aren’t what they used to be. Honestly I see me switching to a Bib if I don’t make my goals but as it stands now and with my crazy schedule the vacuum route is the way for me. The LG Hanger is still new so I wouldn’t be surprised if you hear more accounts of higher poundages being hung in the future. Plus I’m hoping this company makes it and develops more to it, maybe stronger sheaths. They have a great product and ever since the Max-Vac business went under I’ve been waiting for something to come along and take it’s place so sorry if I sound like a salesperson.

I’m for everyone finding what works best for them since we are all different. A new hanger using the techniques I’m using now won’t get abov e 20 lbs in a year or two, maybe even more. By then hopefully they would have made great gains.

BHCentral, I feel exactly the same way about the longevity of my hanging gains. I want to be able to hang over 15-25 pounds if I need to. A vac hanger user can always take a long break to decindition and start fresh again at low weight, but I don’t want to have to do this.

Additionally, my bib is completely comfortable the way I have it set up. I mean aside from the discomfort from the stretch. The attachment feels fine.

Longerstretch, you are correct, I have not experienced vacuum hanging at those levels myself, it may feel completely fine. Even so, I still personally like the idea that I can progress weight as high as I like.

Maximizing time and stress: vac hangers, if they can hang up to 25 pounds nowadays definitely can do GOOD in both those departments, but they do have limitations. Obviously the weight limitation is about 25 pounds with the LG and 10-15 with other vac hangers. The bib can basically handle anything, people have at least doubled those numbers with the bib and it could theoretically handle more. A vac hanger can be worn a long time comfortably as well, but it is still a hanger, so you run into practical considerations like leaving the home and additional apperati needed to hang at any angle other than SD. Additionally, even if you don’t cause any problems at vacuums of 15-20 in-hg with your wrapping and taping protocol for an hour or a little more, it’s still probably not a great idea to leave it at this vacuum for hours and hours. People wear extenders, in the other hand, for 12-14 hours a day sometimes, with even a couple not taking them off for days on end (this sounds sketchy and unsafe though). That is what I meant by maximizing - you can go as high as you want in one of the two departments over time.

Now, that doesn’t mean a vac extender is inferior, just different. Perhaps suited to slightly different goals. Ideally, I want to see how far I can take this thing and how efficiently I can do it. I feel like the bib will offer gains for a longer period without hitting any thresholds, allowing me to go for a longer period without having to get creative.

That’s strange looking at some of his posts
ironaddict69 - VacExtender Info and future review thread

I also seem to remeber him saying that he could use more weight with a vac hanger than with clamping style hangers and that most of his gains came hanging 15-20lbs, which isn’t really that high for the penis.

Probably the best thing to do is just ask him.
However, I don’t know him at all.

By reading his posts it looks like he was using an ADS from them only. I can’t find any that he claims he was using more weight with a Vac Hanger.

By this post it looks like he was using a Bib as of 2013 and before ironaddict69 - my first pics!!

I find many posts where he doesn’t like sitting in a chair and hanging for that many sets regardless of hanger. It doesn’t seem to fit his personality.

ironaddict69 - my first pics!! again another one where he is using a Bib

He has a ton of threads but it does look like he switched to a Bib somewhere along the way. Then he added an ADS with his hanging regime.

Perhaps I am making confusion with another member then.

Probably with this fellow
RandomGiant

he started many threads too though.

Probably so, how much did he gain with his vac hanger?

Well you are giving too much credit to my memory now Rootsnatty. :)
