Minimum Hanging Weight to Start Seeing Gains?

I am going to start hanging with the bib hanger when the new year starts and I’m curious about getting started. I know the goal is to keep the weight as low as possible while still gaining, but is there a minimum weight that is generally required to make gains? It is said to start with 2-5 lbs. If I find 2 lbs. is light, should I be moving to 5 quickly? If I find 5 lbs. is light after a few weeks, should I move up to 7.5 lbs.?

The question is, do I want to get the super low weight out of the way (2-5 lbs.), because it’s possible hardly any gains are made from only 2-5 lbs.?

I have been PEing for 9-10 months, doing only manual exercises. My routine is generally 1.5 hours of length/girth/stamina work. I think my stats are flawed and I’ve gained closer to 0.5-0.75 inches in length. When I’ve measured lately I push the penis down to get max length. I think I cheated.


03/2018: BPEL 5", MEG 4.4375". 05/2020: BPEL 6.1875", MEG 4.4375".

11/2020: BPEL 6.4375", MEG 4.5".

Short term goal: BPEL 6.5", MEG 4.75". Long term goal: BPEL 7", MEG 5".

Interested in thoughts on the minimum weight required to start making gains (especially with some manual experience and length gains already under my belt).


03/2018: BPEL 5", MEG 4.4375". 05/2020: BPEL 6.1875", MEG 4.4375".

11/2020: BPEL 6.4375", MEG 4.5".
