Hangers noticing gains?

At what weight hanging did you start noticing dramatic length gains?
I am currently hanging with eight lbs and I am going to stick with it for awhile as I think gains are coming.

I am thinking that when I do move up I may just pack on another four lbs and get to twelve. That seems to be the magic number for many to quicker gains. I wonder if that may be too much however. I think I can handle it though. Any long time hangers do anything similiar with good results?

To any newbies let me state before hand that when hanging you have to start out light and move up in weight slowly before getting as heavy as I have. To do so otherwise could cause serious injury.

We me it not just weight but time, I have to hang about 10 hours a week to get good gains. My goal is getting closer I can almost see it now thanks to the bib.

That’s playing with fire old boy. Do you reach fatigue at 8 pounds? If not increase by 1 or 2 pounds, use that weight for a week and evaluate.

That’s correct for vets too. Especially considering that the higher the stresses are the more serious the injury will be. Almost all injuries occur because the soft tissues - the skin, veins, glans etc. are exposed to stress that they can not handle at that time, even though the ligs/tunica may be able to comfortably handle the weight.

Back when I 1st started PE I was hanging w/ a home made hanger and couldn’t go above 12lbs without serious pain. I gained 1” when I was hanging between 10-12lbs.

I was also jelqing at that time, so that may have had an effect too.

where do you find time to hang 10 hours a week?

I made gains at 8 lbs. SS4 is right: don’t jump more than 2 lbs. I tried that, and my hanger slipped off rather violently. Although I wasn’t injured, I had to think FAST to explain the loud crash to the neighbors below. It sounded like the floor was going to bust open :D .

Words I recently had to go back and re-read from BIB: hanging is a completely passive activity, it should feel like the weight is not even there. Over time your dick will toughen up and be used to it. Then, add more weight. Move slowly. 99% of the time you are holding back. This is not a contest.

Something else I did. BIB’s max weights in each position: 45 lbs BTC, 20 SO,and 25 OTS. Divide that by his original working time of 19 months. You get 2.36 lbs. BTC, 1.05 lbs. SO, and 1.31 lbs OTS PER MONTH!!! If you are going up faster than that you seriously need to check yourself. This helped put things in perspective for me….

Currently, I’m at 3.75 lbs. OTS. The other day I tried to get “cocky” and slapped on another lb. and was hanging 5 lbs. OTS. Needless to say, my head ballooned up, and I got numb real fast. Luckily, I snapped out of it and dropped back down. Now, I think when I ever get to 25 lbs OTS (passively, not clock watching)I will have a monster cock to go with that monster weight.

Your dick has to become used to the work. If you are clock watching you’re using too much weight. Personally, I wouldn’t recommend more than 1 lb. jumps at a time.

I will move up slowly a pound at a time. I have actually not had time to hang since I started this thread on 12/25/03. So it will be a while before I move up in weight. Thanks everyone for sharing.

That means you should never “fight” the last couple of minutes to finish a set and should rather reduce weight,right?

I´m just trying to understand that!Cause I had to fight to finish a set quite a few times.

But without doing this I would have never reached fatigue.Well,I could be wrong!

If you are having trouble finishing a set, that is fatigue. Reduce the weight.

I started hanging last January and did so until March. I would hang for 20 minutes on 10 minutes off and 20 minutes on again. I began with 2.5 lbs and would add another 2.5lbs when the weight started to feel lighter (moved to 5lbs in a week but added 2.5 lbs every 2 weeks after that). I finished hanging at 17.5 lbs.

The gains started to come at about 12.5 lbs. I really noticed the girth changing when the 15 lbs started to feel lighter. In that time I gained 3/4 inch in length and 1/2 an inch in girth for a size of 7 1/2 inches X 6 inches erect.

I stopped because I had read that a long penis may cause pain to women (Even though mine never had), giving up on my goal of 8X6. In retrospect this was the biggest mistake of my life. I recently learned that a woman will only experiance pain if she is not fully aroused. Boy am I kicking myself, let me tell you that.

So tonight, I strap on my homemade device and the madness begins once again. Unfortuantly I’ve lost some girth but I’ll live; add a couple of sets of jelq/horses to my new routine.

After reading BBS’s post I’ll definatly slow down the weight increases. I admit to having done some clock watching towards and after 12.5 lbs but always thought that those intense sets would give me the greatest stretches and gains.

One more thing, don’t just stand there while hanging. Multi-task. If you’re a student: study for that hour. If you play the guitar (now there’s a site to see) strum out a few songs. You can hang while watching the evening news/your favorite program or talking to your girlfriend on the phone. Get creative. Personally, I don’t have too much free time and fitting in that hour has proven a challenge at times. But if you can multitask I think you’ll find it a lot easier to stay on schedule.
